I don’t like being disarmed when going into a courthouse.
Back in my LEO days when I had to go to federal court I would give up my belt weapon but keep my boot gun. I found it totally asinine to trust my well being to semi-retired old guys who sat around most of the day reading the newspaper.
And in a major urban county court around here, it was semi-retired old grandmothers, not even old guys. It did not end well.
