Obama’s License to Kill a handy item for arrogant thugs and would-be dictators

The “Nobel Peace Prize Winner” Obama and Mr. Brennan issued themselves a license to kill anyone, anywhere at any time in the name of national security. Unlike the most famous figure–007–Mr. Obama and Mr. Brennan feel they answer to no one for their actions. They randomly identify anyone as a terrorist without any proof, even Americans without due process. The most controversial target of the Obama regime was an American born teenage son of Nassar al-Awlaki, a known American born terrorist. Abdulrahman Al-Awlaki had no ties to terrorist organizations yet was killed by a drone on Oct 14, 2011. He was targeted by the Obama White House while the Eric “The Cleaner” Holder Justice Department shields the Chicago good-fellas by justifying the assassination.

Memo

Despite the efforts of Congress and the courts to force the Obama Family controlled White House to release a DOJ memo concerning Drone killings, it was leaked to the Obama friendly NBC news. The 16 Page memo provided details for the justification of the Obama hit squad to select “enemies of the state” for execution. If they happen to be Americans so be it, even if they are not indicted and represent no actual threat to Americans. But of course, these are not the unfortunate results of collateral damage. They are deliberate hits! The lap dog media of Don Obama would never dare report this unless they want to risk a visit by the goombas from justice.

The actual memo is scary and vague, even though the targets are represented as al-Qaeda leadership and associates. The meaning of “associates” is unclear and could mean just about anyone. According to U.S. Judge Colleen McMahon, The Obama administration “had engaged in public discussion of the legality of targeted killing, even of citizens.”

Any bets on how long it will be until Hussein decides to start using the drones over the US to kill Americans?

I’m just wondering about when a candidate we want gets elected, will this still be considered a handy item for arrogant thugs and would-be dictators?

Since the prescient has been set it's something all Americans need to worry about. What really amazes me is the lack of outrage.

It’s a sticky situation. It apparently looks like Awlaki was waging war against US interests if not the US itself, and was struck like any other enemy engaged in war might be. And few would complain. But with a history of rhetoric of war on this, war on that, in domestic programs, will this distinction be stretched beyond all reason? Dunno. If the left is allowed freedom to go crazy, history shows that crazy it will go.

I believe you mean precedent. I dunno. What would George Washington’s army have done with a colonist who joined the redcoat army? I suppose, capture if possible and subject to military trial. If that was infeasible, then a direct attack as on an enemy would be expected.

I see a lot of outrage. This morning in the paper, there was a liberal columnist that was openly against it.

Don’t concern yourself with drones.

Worry more about the Billion rounds of ammo DHS has stockpiled.

Only folks huddling in militia groups would have to worry about domestic drone strikes.

The warning will be when they begin systematically scouring gun shop records.

It seems that with the Constitution taken as a set of vague, nice suggestions nowadays there is room for all sorts of mischief. I DO hope that even lefties begin to see a cause to dig in against Obama, even at this late date.

If I remember correctly, George Washington didn't kill innocent family members of those who went over to the enemy's side.

American born Abdulrahman Al-Awlaki had no ties to terrorist organizations but was targeted and kill without any evidence or due process. This is using national resources to commit murder without any oversight.

It’s sticky situation like I said and there are valid arguments to be made for taking far more care than Barack Obama has, to effect a capture rather than a kill when it is a US citizen involved. I don’t know why al-Awlaki’s family hasn’t tried suing for wrongful death if the situation is this clear.

They have, the Main stream media doesn't care to report it too loudly.

Well in this case I say good. He doesn’t need to reveal squat about the “program” through which he did the act, to be adjudicated as to his liability for having actually done it. The national secrets can safely be kept here.

The only time I remember hearing about a media so in-the-tank for a leader was 1930’s Germany and 1950’s Russia.

King Obama is already our dictator and if we don't impeach by the end of his term we will never reverse what he has done.

Ehhh...nah. He will bluster for a couple more years. Then he will be a lame duck. Then he will be gone like every other president and the republic will roll on as it does. Those who see Obummer as some existential threat give him way too much credit. At worst he might extend background checks and ban some high capacity magazines. That and HCR will be the cross we have to beat as Americans moving forward, hopefully to be undone by some future Republicans. This country can and has endured worse.
