It’s interesting that both sides, even back then, used the same argument.I guess there is nothing new under the sun.

Fight back by demanding that gun grabbers write legislation requiring drug lords and gang bangers conduct background checks before arming any new recruits.
People who think they’ll stop the illegal use of guns by expanding background checks which criminals will respect are about as stupid as those who believe bootleggers checked for the legal age of those to whom they sold booze......
