VANITY POST: Facebook Traffic Surges With Martial Law Refs
facebook | 1/28/2013 | n/a

A relative called and told me that the number of references on Facebook concerning Martial Law just went up substantially.

The references are to Martial Law training for local LEs by Homeland Security, and the people making the comments are LEOs themselves. They're expressing concern.

I saw the article here on FR earlier today concerning a training activity last night over downtown Miami. This is not normal and seems to be part of the Feds efforts to solicit, I believe, a negative response from a specific sector of the general public.

There is a lot of political activity going on right now - threats to confiscate guns, eliminate the arrest powers of Sherrifs, so-called Immigration Reform, psy-ops online petitions to assasinate Sarah Palin (which I believe is generated by the White House) - Obama is tossing a lot of stuff out there in an attempt to gin up responses, not to mention coordinated local LEO and Fed police training which may or may not be material.

“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to be feared.” — Marcus Tullius Cicero

I really don’t know. I can’t imagine any American wanting what the liberals want.

The liberals have so dumbed down and engaged the "feelings" of their voting base that the issues are no longer at issue with them. No one gives serious consideration to the effects the proposals will have, instead, blinded by mindless hatred, they are "in it to win" without even being conscious of the effect their "winning" will have on everyone, not just their "enemy". Because they routinely deny responsibility for their own actions, they will rarely, if ever, make the connection between their actions and any ill results, and will blame someone else.

We have seen the increasing harshness of their tone, the pursuit of their goals has become a "battle", they fight against their opponents whom they claim wage "war" on targeted demographic groups, and their entire PSYOP is succeeding.

Therein lies the most grave danger of all, that the mindless followers may some day take up arms to fight to suppress our God-given Rights so they can "win".

My opinion of these events is that they are trying to ramp up the debate, to get conservatives to be more shrill in their frustration, so they can blame the next false flag operation on the Right, just like the Oklahoma City Bombing was blamed on the Right.

(It was likely the actions of an Muslim-involved/influenced nutcase at best and a false flag op/sting gone wrong at worst. Remember the FBI informant was the one who showed the bombers how to mix the explosive for the WTC bombing, and the OK City bombing may have been another one that got away--although the timing was perfect to defuse the Waco investigation--and the worst possible sort of event for the Right.)

We must ever be more careful, no matter how frustrated events make us, to be rational in action and discourse. Do not give them the quotes they want to parade on the TV to make us look bad.

For contingency planners, quietly make your plans, get together with some friends, whatever, but behave legally. Exercise caution in your relationships thus: Usually the guy in the room howling loudest to "burn it down" or "blow it up" is an informant or undercover.

The second anyone they can blame from the Right does anything wrong, they will use it as justification for the pogroms to start. If we ever reach that point, do what you must (that, after all, is what contingency plans are for), but preferably we will not get that far.

We still have the right to protest and assemble. We have the right to be antagonised, but we need to excercise it peacefully. We need to turn the debate around from how many rights we are allowed to have, to how much power they should have over us.

Precisely. We need to counter their PSYOP by remaining rational. We also need to remind them that they will lose their Rights, too.

The people that work there are thinking WTF?

That could go either way, depending on the department. Big City Departments, I don't know, smaller towns and rural Sheriff's departments might be stocking up for a different reason. The politics vary.

A lot would depend on the type of equipment and supplies, but at some point I would think that they anticipate civil unrest.

They make things that outfit police cars. My husband has noticed some of their weapons have changed. I read an article a few weeks ago that police departments around the nation are being lavished with federal money.

I see stuff that is going on lately and knowing this huge uptick at my husbands business, gives me the creeps.

I wonder if the State of Texas had forewarning of this?

I just emailed some current national guard members and hope to have a reply later this morning.

...agitating and antagonizing - that’s what community organizers do.

There is a very thin line between Marxism/Communism and Community Organizing...actually Community Organizing is an analogy for Communism.
