San Diego Police Chief, William Lansdowne said in an interview that the implementation of new gun laws will take guns off the streets of America within a generation.

Most cities have audio sensors that triangulate a gunshot almost immediately withing a few feet.
Cops never seem to answer the calls quick enough though.

Worst case, I’ll have another boating accident. There is no need to bother with that anymore. These days one simply visits a "no questions asked" gun buyback event (on the opposite end of the country, usually) and gives all their firearms away.

Very good! “In holsters or in hand”. My thought was
EGAD those guns could be run over by steamrollers or little tricycles with clowns riding on them!
At least the dumb chief didn't say “out of the hood”, that
could mean no longer hidden in a hoodie.
