MICHIGAN — Immigrant advocate groups and people across the state are calling on Secretary of State, Ruth Johnson to comply with a federal mandate and grant young eligible immigrants the right to drive. In a telephone news conference on Wednesday, Reverend Jack Eggleston joined two young immigrants to demand that Johnson follow the mandate.
Michigan immigrants eligible for work permits under immigration reforms still have no legal way to search for work or to get to work because of Johnson’s refusal to grant them driver’s licenses. President Obama’s executive action this summer grants certain younger undocumented immigrants work permits and temporary relief from prosecution under the Deferred Action Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
During the news conference, Attorney Susan Reed provided a legal perspective while Adonis Flores, an immigrant Wayne State University student and Jose Franco co-founder of One Michigan recounted the burden placed on them by Johnson’s roadblock to their legal right to drive.

Those functions not specifically granted to the Federal Government by the STATES are left to the STATES....what part of this does the Obama Reich not understand.
All they can do is threaten to take away Federal highway grants. Screw the Fed.
I would say that after the driver’s license there’s voting... but they’re already doing that anyway, facilitated by crooked Democrats (oh, but I repeat myself).
The Feds have no control over the States re: Drivers license. And Reed is an attorney ?

According to state laws, driving a vehicle is a PRIVILEGE, not a RIGHT.
Time to start popping corn. This could get to be entertaining. Is driving a privelage or a right? In the left’s efforts to cater to criminals, they just might inadvertently discount their past efforts to deny that freedom of movement is a right.

CONTACT YOUR CONG/man: Repubs need to act now——amnesty legislation should be amended to DENY citizenship:
(1) to illegals who bought forged/faked multiple identities;
(2) to illegals who fraudulently voted in American elections;
(3) to illegals cashing one or more US govt checks;
(4) to all illegals convicted of crimes;
(5) to illegals w/ fraudulent drivers’ licenses;
(6) to illegals undermining the US ecocomy by sending US tax dollars back to their homelands;
(7) to illegals affiliated with latino organizations undermining US ntl security;
(8) to illegals connected to the hatemongering “La Raza” and to “Raza Studies” that advocates killing Americans;
(9) to illegals who returned to US after being deported one or more times;
(10) to illegals whose parents fraudently declared them on EITC apps;
(11) to illegals who unlawfully received US govt gratuities in exchange for their votes.
.............and so on and so forth......

The Texas brothers turned a NJ hotel room into a business office and were readying a massive cache of fake Social Security cards for delivery to a local NJ identity broker. Officers happened upon two cars bearing Texas plates in a NJ hotel parking lot. The Texas brothers were followed to a NJ office supply store nearby where they purchased computer supplies. Officers then followed the Texans to a NJ storage facility in Secaucus, NJ, where the Texans loaded several boxes into a car. One of them stood lookout.
After a search, police recovered laminating sheets with built-in security features, pages of blank documents waiting for fake names and information, finished documents, computers and software to create the fake IDs.
All told, the haul was worth about $500,000 on the street when sold to "impoverished illegals." Police also recovered $6,000 in cash, which was the first payment from a NJ fake document broker for a shipment of 500 phony Social Security cards. ####

REFERENCE March 8, 2012 KENNER, La. -- Kenner police arrested illegal Marvin Baca who sold false W-2 forms to another illegal immigrant for $1,500. Baca sold fraudulent W-2 forms for $1,500 to other Hispanics here illegally.
Police said that on one of the forged W-2 forms had a SS no of a person living in Virginia. Police said illegal Hispanics purchase fictitious W-2 forms and file false tax returns with the government to receive EITC refunds. Baca was charged with one count of ID theft and two counts of forgery.
