Immigration is a natural right
Bishop Kevin Farrell ^ | Jan 9, 2013 | Bishop Kevin Farrell

This week is National Migration Week, a campaign of the American bishops aimed at comprehensive immigration reform in order to legalize 11 million undocumented immigrants. The campaign has five goals: Provide a path to citizenship for undocumented persons; preserve family unity as a cornerstone of our national immigration system; provide legal paths for low-skilled immigrant workers to come and work in the United States; restore due process protections to immigration enforcement policies; address the root causes of migration caused by persecution and economic disparity.

Since 1975 the Immigration and Legal Services (ILS) department of Catholic Charities of Dallas, Inc. has provided a broad range of immigration counseling and representation to immigrants and their families. Thousands of immigrants from Mesoamerica, Europe, Africa and Asia have been assisted by Catholic Charities ILS.

Migration is a major biblical theme. Abraham’s family moved to Canaan and then to Egypt. Jacob and his sons made their way to Egypt, and the Israelites made their exodus to the Promised Land. The people of Israel returned to Judah from exile, and, of course, there was Joseph and Mary’s journey to Bethlehem and their flight into Egypt. All were journeys of hope, either for refuge or a better life.

Which of us does not have ancestors who migrated to Texas, by ship or plane from Africa, Europe, Asia, and Central America or by foot across the Bering land bridge? But our memories are short and we need to be reminded from whence we came as God reminded the Israelites: “You shall not oppress or afflict a resident alien, for you were once aliens residing in the land of Egypt.” Exodus 22:20.

Yes I said “all”.
Yes words have meaning.
To get the correct meaning you must read all the words in my post.
And yes I mean “all” the words.

They are the “high-ranking clergy” and are then part of the elite. They rub elbows with the elite and have come to believe what the “beautiful people” believe.

Doesn’t this make you think of what Jesus said about those who wanted the positions of status and the best places at the banquets? I believe many of the top clergy fall victim to the seduction of hanging out with the beautiful people.

If immigration is a natural right that means that the native inhabitants have no rights at all. This bozo doesn’t even understand private property. A country is the property of the people of that country. All who come in without permission are intruders. Would the Bishop like to come home one day to find squatters living in his house? He is following the Marxist view without even knowing it.

The South American countries are all Catholic, maybe the Church could start there. Why so much poverty and problems in the Latin American countries?

The Catholic Church was infiltrated by Marxists, especially in Mexico and South America. They knew to control those countries—they would have to infiltrate and take over the Catholic Church. “For the Greater Glory” is a movie about that in the early 1900’s. The State killed priests and tried to eradicate the Church in Mexico, but the people protested and revolted. After the war, the Church went downhill. “Social Justice” became a code word for communism.

Most of the “Christian” churches are the opposite of Christian. Pastor Bonhoeffer talked about the “Religionless” Christianity in Germany in the 20’s and 30’s— and came to NYC and noticed it in the non-Black Christian churches in 1931. Many of the “Liberation” Theology Churches—like Rev. Wright’s is a Marxist religion-—really godless....no Christian teaching in Cone. The warped, evil ideology.

Read the encyclical of Pope Pius X in 1907. Pascendi. It is when the infiltration started. The Fabian Socialists took over Harvard—the ivy schools and all the important newspapers, so they could “shape” opinion. They infiltrated all institutions which wielded power.

The “De” Christianization happened early in Mexico—and in South America—just like in the East. There is a “war” inside the Catholic Church right now. There are groups of Catholics like the SSPX who are fighting the rot (marxism) in the Catholic Church. Some still consider the current pope an anti-pope and a Freemason. There is so much intrigue and politics in the Catholic Church right now-—and has been ever since 1960....it is fascinating to read about it.

Pope John Paul I was killed after 33 days-—many think Pope Paul VI was an anti-pope and there is proof he was a Freemason plant. Vatican II was to destroy the Church. I love this youtube video-—It is one of my favorites.

This entire argument is ridiculous. It’s like no one remembers 1986 when we were assured amnesty would cure the problem once and for all.

Now they say they have new answers to the problem, that according to the idiots like them in the past, doesn’t exist.

Don’t pee on me and tell me it’s raining.

Ted Kennedy single handidly destroyed this country with that and other stupid ideas. He invented the HMO that everyone came to hate (and blamed on Reagan).

He invented “No Child Left Behind” that GW Bush got enacted and the libs hate it.

So how is he still the liberals darling? Oh, I forgot. They are retarded.

Why wait for them to come here? If “economic justice” is so important then why aren’t we bringing over 500 million Chinese ourselves?

I mean, they just want a better life for their children.

Then another 500 million Indians (dot), then more Pakistanis etc.

They are all socialist countries. While the Pope’s preach about the evil of socialism, their are “socialist priests and bishops”-—which is an oxymoron.

This is a really great commentary on Socialism by various popes.

I agree with much that you say but I also think that many clergy who are not actual Marxists are being led down the garden path by the liberals and Marxists. The Marxist influence the liberals and then they spread the propaganda throughout the church. They will take a couple of passages from the Bible like the ones about being hospitable to foreigners and they will take it to the extreme that it is somehow anti-Christian for people to have their own nations.

The Marxist read the Bible and study it so as to defeat it. For instance, they take the passages from the Bible about the Kingdom of God on earth where every nation, language and race is living before God in perfect harmony. This perfect world cannot happen as long as there is sin on earth but the Marxists goad the Christians into a me too utopianism where the Christian clergy are getting caught up in the leftist euphoria of living in a kumbaya world where everyone is at peace and there is harmony everywhere. What would really happen in a world without borders would be the worst wars and land grabs that the world has ever seen. Imagine if there were no national borders. The more powerful nations would attack their neighbors driving people from their homes, making them refugees, starving and desperate. This would be happening all over the world. The blind leaders of the blind in the Christian clergy cannot see the obvious realities before their eyes.

Ah, the 1965 Immigration REFORM Act—the gift that keeps on giving—to the Democrats, that is. Here is an article about food stamp fraud among immigrant store owners.

Refugee Resettlement Watch is an excellant website, don’t forget to book mark it.
