Think back to the last time you listened to the nightly news and heard a story about an eight year old girl that was missing for two weeks, and then found in a shallow grave with evidence of having been raped. The grave turned out to be in the back yard of a “person of interest” identified within a day of the child’s disappearance. Why? Because he was a registered pedophile.
When you heard that story, did you wish our society had tried harder to help the child rapist-turned-murderer? Or did you wish we were a stronger, less tolerant society?

Yeah, my experience with it was that a grandfather by marriage not blood got away with it for forty plus years, multiple generations. Would’ve been nice if someone would have handled it in 1958. Thanks for the read.
I seem to recall an incident in my homestate of Louisiana in which a pedophile was taken out to a cane field by some family members of the victim, and flayed to pieces via a bullwhip.
Pure, beautiful justice. I would happily endorse that very same treatment for each and every child molester, without reservation.

I agree that anyone who commits murder should be executed, I do not believe the reason for the murder has anything to do with that. Second, I believe that anybody that commits forcible, violent rape against the wishes of the person being raped deserves to be executed.
I do not believe that a child is any more important than anybody else. All life is precious. Let me state that again, ALL LIFE IS PRECIOUS!
A crime is a crime. I don't care that the person has uncontrollable desires, I don't care that the abuser was abused. We all know it is wrong. They know it is wrong, that is why they hide their acts. They don't want to be caught because they know it is wrong.
To me making a person register as a sex offender and have everybody hiding from him, pointing at him etc., is cruel and unusual punishment and shouldn't be allowed, the poor person should be executed instead.
Do I believe in mercy, you betcha. Do I believe in forgiveness yes I do, and I'll tell these poor demented people who abuse children that I will forgive them but that they still need to fulfill the law and be executed.
Rapists of 3 or 30 year olds need to be removed from society, permanently.

And many 19 year olds look at 15 year olds and think sex.
Really? Why would a libertarian want to keep pedophiles around?
The fact is that this will divide libertarians, because while it fits their agenda, many will recoil at it, of course more libertarians will recoil today, than will as the years go by, that is how the left works.
and 19 year olds should know what the definition of maturity and adult is. If they have no self-control, patience and good judgement they probably shouldn’t be walking aroun on their own.
