White Plains newspaper The Journal- News, a Gannett publication, has published the full name and address of every licensed pistol permit holder in three New York counties. I don’t know whether the Journal’s publisher Janet Hasson is a permit holder herself, but here’s how to find her to ask:

I’m certain this will never be reported, but I wonder how many burglars will be caught with a copy of this list somewhere? Kind of a guidebook for where NOT to break into.
You also don’t hear much about it, but numerous surveys have proven that the thing burglars fear most is a homeowner with a gun.
I too am curious. Is there a way to get crime (burglary) stats for that same area? I’d be willing to bet Jim Thompson’s paycheck most of the burglaries will be in NON-gun owning homes.

The true liberal sees nothing wrong with what this paper did. The true liberal hates honest, law-abiding people who favor the second amendment.

Journal News reporter Dwight R. Worley owns a Smith & Wesson 686 .357 Magnum and has had a residence permit
in New York City for that weapon since February 2011.
Some Freepers express concern that the robbers want to break in to steal guns, and although sometimes guns are taken in a robbery, these dudes are more interested in your 60" TVs, some of your antique jewelry (with real gemstones and gold), coin collections, money lying about, and, as a burglar did at my house, a hot can of chile carne.
BTW, they eventually caught that guy and what he was stealing was mostly jewelry. The cops finally showed some gumption and got him when he killed a couple of real estate brokers ~ stole their jewelry too.

The house is nicely located between the Winged Foot Golf Club and Saxon Woods county Park.
I was wondering if it was a gated community, from the street name, but there doesn’t seem to be any gate on the map.
On page 3910 of the Tax Assessors record for the address, she is/was not the owner as of May 2012.

It would be interesting though rather mean to start a webpage page with the picture of the houses and address of famous liberals that are anti-gun. Call the site. “Best Houses to Rob, Burglarize or Rape the Inhabitants of” Post a picture of the house, the name of the occupants, the schools their kids go to and maybe an approximate floor plan if possible.
Just have a disclaimer that the publishers were not advocating violence or criminal activity but that if it were to occur it would happen in a place like that and it might be best for other home owners to take steps to make themselves less vulnerable
I’d be willing to bet that there are considerably more gun owners in that area than are known by the government (and apparently, the readers of this fish wrap).
