Christianity 'close to extinction' in Middle East

Why? It's a question the media never asks because they know the answer and they work furiously to obfuscate and cover up the why and the who.

Everywhere Islam goes, everything and everyone must submit or .... die. Dhimmitude may be percevied as a third choice, but it is merely a slow and painful death.

And all these churches and synagogues twinning with mosques. Why aren't these Pastors and Rabbis addressing with with Islamic clergy. Because these quislings are afraid to speak the truth.

"Christianity 'close to extinction' in Middle East" Telegraph Christianity faces being wiped out of the “biblical heartlands” in the Middle East because of mounting persecution of worshippers, according to a new report.

The most common threat to Christians abroad is militant The study warns that Christians suffer greater hostility across the world than any other religious group.

And it claims politicians have been “blind” to the extent of violence faced by Christians in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

The most common threat to Christians abroad is militant Islam, it says, claiming that oppression in Muslim countries is often ignored because of a fear that criticism will be seen as “racism”.

It warns that converts from Islam face being killed in Saudi Arabia, Mauritania and Iran and risk severe legal penalties in other countries across the Middle East.

The report, by the think tank Civitas, says: “It is generally accepted that many faith-based groups face discrimination or persecution to some degree. "A far less widely grasped fact is that Christians are targeted more than any other body of believers.”

It cites estimates that 200 million Christians, or 10 per cent of Christians worldwide, are “socially disadvantaged, harassed or actively oppressed for their beliefs.”

“Exposing and combating the problem ought in my view to be political priorities across large areas of the world. That this is not the case tells us much about a questionable hierarchy of victimhood,” says the author, Rupert Shortt, a journalist and visiting fellow of Blackfriars Hall, Oxford.

He adds: “The blind spot displayed by governments and other influential players is causing them to squander a broader opportunity. Religious freedom is the canary in the mine for human rights generally.”

The report, entitled Christianophobia, highlights a fear among oppressive regimes that Christianity is a “Western creed” which can be used to undermine them.

Pagan Romans tried this, so to the Soviets and the Republican French—somehow it continues on—People are willing to die for their faith—they will go underground, they will hold out, until the foe is defeated. Not to worry—with Christ on our side—we are victorious.

The last line of your post says everything one needs to know about the persecution of Christians in Muslim countries.

There is a great fear of Christianity around the world. Sinful people are afraid of the Truth because the Truth condemns them. So they hide behind calls of “racism” and call Christians “bigots” and worse.

The thing is, Christ offers a relationship with the One True God and a more abundant life. All God asks is that we as His children surrender our lives to Him.

Unfortunately, that is something sinful people can’t do without His divine gift of faith. Therefore, it is incumbent on all Christians to pray for God’s divine intervention anywhere people of the faith suffer persecution.

It’s genocide people! Not extinction. Aided and abetted by Obama and anybody else who has promoted the Arab Spring. They are surrendering the Middle East and the rest of Africa to the Muslims - for what reason I know not. Maybe they think it will appease them - it will not it will only engender them with more religious fervor.

Of course their hatred of Israel also has everything to do with it.

Its about Obama’s muslim faith, his conning of America and the creation of his North African Caliphate... so Israel can be whacked by his proxies.

And at America’s expense.

Whatever happens to Israel happens to western man.

If and when it does, freedom, liberty and rights as we know them will be extinguished for a very , very long time.

Politically, he is also a marxist, which goes hand in hand with the tribal philosophies in the majority of Islam.

To better understand how we have been stealthed, view the documentary on Vimeo, “Agenda: Grinding America Down”

PS this is free for a limited time so, we need to get it out there!

Extinction of Christians is never going to happen. History, has shown, in China, in the Roman Empire, in the Soviet Union, that the church grows under persecution and becomes more spiritual under persecution. God has promised Christians that he will never give them more than we can bear. When scoffers against, and persecutors of, Christians are dead and buried, the Church will be in heaven with the Lord. Count on it. (And by the way, apparently there are those on Free Republic who are also counting on the demise of the Church.) As I say, it’s never going to happen.

It’s not dead. It’s just gone underground and invisible.

Try to squish it, and it gets stronger.
