Utter, foolish nonsense. Slavery was common all over the world at that time. Slavery is still common in many Islamic countries. “We” pay? I don’t own slaves, never did. Why should people alive now pay for something that some ancestors of some of them did? Every country should “pay” that had slaves, which means basically every single country in the world at some point. And without black people selling their brethren to Mozlems, there would have been no slave trade bringing slaves to America.
Get a grip.
And if black people in the US are so angry their ancestors were brought here as slaves, let them go back to their country of origin and live like their long lost relatives. Parasites, no shoes, skinny, under madmen rulers. Havin’ fun, yeah.

What many people also don’t realize is that it is still legal for Islamic countries have ‘slaves’ in our own country under the UN diplomatic rules. A few years ago, a black African woman escaped from some middle eastern country’s embassy ( can’t remember which country)....here in the US and we could do nothing but return her to her captors and tormentors.

The point the poster meant to make, as I understood it, was that the dependent underclass that is now ruining our country is a direct outgrowth of slavery.

The dependent underclass is not a direct outgrowth of slavery, it is a direct outgrowth of communism/socialism using racism as a tool. If it was a direct outgrowth of slavery then this social condition would have been continuous since the civil war. It just started in the 1960s with socialist entitlements and went to hell from there.

(Operation Chaos) I witnessed it and was one of 200 people to file a legal affidavit with the Clinton campaign in Texas. Her lawyers were on top of it and then ... dropped it like a hot potato. She had him by the gonads and then cut a deal.
