If a revolution comes, Bloomberg will find himself swinging from an oak tree!

(Obamanation--the most corrupt regime since Robert Mugabe's Zimbabwe)
I only wish. He has ruined the city school system and the lives of thousands of dedicated teachers, claiming educational reform but in reality, just to flex his oversized ego. You should see the new small schools he imposed on the school system after crafting the demise of traditional large high schools. The students call their teachers by their first names
, virtually all work is done in groups
(paving the way for a "There is no 'one', only 'us'" mentality), students are completely allowed to listen to headphones and wear hats in class, etc. You rarely see a teacher standing in front of the class, teaching. You see the students (in their groups) collectively working on worksheets which seem more suitable for students 2 or 3 grades below their grade. These worksheets (I have examined them) lead the students by the NOSE through thought processes step by step instead of requiring any real thinking and leaping mentally from A to B on their own. The students in these small schools don't have to take the state Regents proficiency tests, just present a "portfolio" of work. Students are encouraged in these small schools to protest for immigrants' and gay rights, attend rallies during the school day on behalf of such causes, etc.
In other words, these students are being prepared all along for a socialist mentality. This is Bloomberg, with his sanctuary city, his refusal to allow the National Guard to come and help after Hurricane Sandy 'cos they had GUNS and he didn't want anyone but the NYPD to bear arms in his city, and his absolute confidence that only HE knows best how large a soda you should have.
Meanwhile, I don't know where all the funds being given to feed the kids in the school cafeterias are going, as the food I see being served to them is mostly crap. High-sodium lunch meats on whole wheat bread, PB&J sandwiches, scrawny pieces of chicken, fish sticks wrapped up in a tortilla to constitute a "wrap", etc. There is salad available and some overcooked veggies, along with the lowest-grade fruit I've ever seen. Seems they buy the rejecto undersized fruits no one else wants. I wonder what's going on there.
