An Egyptian court has sentenced to death in absentia seven Egyptians, a Florida-based American pastor, and the Editor in Chief of this site.
The Egyptians were found guilty of being associated with an anti-Islam film that sparked riots throughout the Muslim world, the Florida pastor was convicted for burning a Koran, and Big Hairy News chief Scooter Van Neuter was sentenced to death for posting a series of portraits of the Prophet Muhammad.
"I deeply regret that the Egyptian court took offense to our artwork," said Van Neuter as he made final preparations to move to an undisclosed location. "It was not our desire to disrespect Muhammad in any way. We're sorry."

If Egypt doesn’t pardon them how about no more US money.

Since there is no way for the Egyptian court to enforce its death decision; I suggest a “quid pro quo” is in order.
That is, announce on the Internet, where it will be seen in Egypt, that all the court officers of this court, by name, have *themselves* been sentenced to death, for “crimes against humanity”.
But why do a hoax like this?
To start with, petty tyrants, like these court officers, in 3rd world countries rapidly becoming 4th world countries, toss around death sentences and death fatwas too easily.
They know that nobody takes them seriously, but if somebody does, and murders somebody else, justifying it with their decision, suddenly they are a big poobah. Mr. important.
But if Americans issue a death sentence, it is a whole different ball of wax. America is the superpower. It has a gigantic and powerful military, and a legion of federal Marshals who are like Terminator Energizer bunnies.
Bottom line: just the *possibility* that an American death sentence is for real may be enough to make these Egyptian cretins poop in their robes.
Even though it is a ha-ha hoax, they don’t know enough about America to know that it is a hoax for sure. What they do know is that if America gets a case of the ass against them, they are likely to end up sleeping with the hag fishes.
They also know that the long arm of America, if it so chooses, can smite them like cockroaches *anywhere* in the world. Nowhere to run to, nowhere to hide. They’re boned.
So bottom line, they had better STFU and keep a low profile for the foreseeable future.
2. Use the powers of the UN to extradite them it has been done by Sandie Arabia to a Malaysian citizen. Actually the rules are already set up and signed by the US. It is only a matter of doing it.
Either way i would feel a little nervous with an Al-Qauda supporter as president if I were these people.
