Lengthy article that I hope to revisit later.

>> After all our Founding principles are as basic as Newtonian and Quantum physics. We know they are right and that they work yet so many still believe otherwise.

A Tchaikovsky violin concerto has greater meaning than the sum of contemporary science.

There is no Socialist Democracy.

Not after the elite settle in.

Here we have another writer who tries to figure out why a society deliberately commits political and economic suicide. What happens to a society’s psyche that would cause it to self destruct? I personally believe it can be reduced down to two basic human flaws - ignorance and greed. When these traits are no longer checked and manage to coalesce, there is no escaping the ritualistic societal suicide that follows.

Who gave the order to our military to “stand down” and NOT implement plans to rescue our men in Benghazi on 9-11-12?

When?

Why?

The masses have said, via their votes, that they prefer a Socialist Democracy. Thay have also said, via their votes, that they prefer being slaves to the State rather than free individuals. And last but not least, they prefer being owned and cared for by the Government over free and responsilbl for their own well being. The Founding Fathers are spinning in their graves.

At that time Herbert Hoover had lost the election, not only because he was not a conservative and contributed to a spending folly that led to the despair of the depression but because the Republican platform was long, unreadable and not understandable as opposed to the Democratic platform which was a clear, concise, covenant with the people who entrusted it to be faithfully kept.

Maybe if the GOP-e would have backed Newt Gingrich in the 2012 election we would have a Republican president come January. He was especially good at being clear and concise and is credited with a successful covenant with the people: The Contract with America. Remember the debates during the primaries? Talk about voter fraud; it makes me wonder how Romney became the Republican nominee.

I read the Xavier Lerma article and sent the link to others I know who have descended into “observation” mode as we watch the disintegration of America take place before our very eyes. The grief of understanding that those who are so elated that they now have people in place who will steal for them while they sit back and take from an ever smaller group of workers, is to watch the death of a nation in progress with the knowledge that death might have already occurred while the deceased is on a life support which is masking it. My parents were poor farmers and I gained an education through striving to do the best I could in school and through taking the opportunity over the years to get a degree. I tried my best to help and encourage others, beginning with family and friends, but adding neighbors, too, when possible. We loved our communities, our schools, our states and our nation. We trusted our government representatives to have mostly the same values we had..not to steal, kill, and not to hand us over to foreign powers. Our family members served in the military and some died there. We we worked on the job and we gave it our best. We did not envy those who had more than we did and we were never racists and we have children of other races in our family. Over the Thanksgiving Holiday, my husband and I began to listen to a Teaching Company Course with the title of THE WISDOM OF HISTORY, taught by Professor J. Rufus Fears, who earned his Ph.D from Harvard and is a prolific writer with many awards and achievements. He is the David Ross Boyd Professor of Classics at the University of Oklahoma. This series of 12 lectures focuses on one thing which is that we do not learn from history. If mankind had been smart enough to do that, we could have avoided much of the human suffering which has taken place throughout all of history. I highly recommend Dr. Fear's lectures, though, we know the majority who won the election will never listen to the wisdom of the past and so, all of us are doomed to repeat it. How great it would be if only the American Press would simply try to learn the lessons of history. In our day of texting, I realize that folks do not want to read anything longer than a line or two, so what I have written here will not be much read. However, I read the longer messages and have found Pravda which, as we now know, reports wisdom not available here in the US. I will be alert for any Lerma articles in the future.

Excellent post.

Alfred Smith was 75 years ahead of his time & right on the money about Democrats.

From the author: “I was stunned that a nation as great as ours could be so philosophically wrong? After all our Founding principles are as basic as Newtonian and Quantum physics. We know they are right and that they work yet so many still believe otherwise. It was a though some universal timeless law had been proven fundamentally wrong. Is the world truly flat when it was thought to be round because so many things work the way they do?”

A successful republic requires an intelligent & moral voter. More than 50% of voters no longer fall in that group.

With high school graduation rates at 40-60%, & many more that “graduate” that are as dumb as a post, most people don't know what Newtonian physics is, much less how it works. So, why expect these same people to understand & respect our founding principles?

For those people who do graduate & go to college, they are inundated with socialist/Marxist propaganda. Many buy into this crap, & spread the nonsense to the ignorant.

Rather than educate kids, public education has become a propaganda tool of the oligarchy. Its primary “success” has be the perverting of children in the name of sex education. Children are not taught to read or add, but they understand anal sex perfectly, & know where to go to get an abortion.

Our leaders provide no moral code. They are regularly excused for lying, theft, murder, perversion & infidelity. Could any group be more immoral? So-called celebrities are little more than talentless, perverted exhibitionists. If Kim Kardashian had been visiting the Benghazi consulate on 9/11, I guarantee there would have been a rescue, with the MSM covering every detail of the attack & aftermath.

Truth is, evil, supported by ignorance, has triumphed, just as it did in Soviet Russia, Nazi Germany, Rome, & numerous other countries, cities, towns, families, churches, & groups. When that happens the society is doomed. The country wont collapse tomorrow, but we are as doomed as the above named societies.

"A Constitutional Republic or Socialist Democracy"

More exactly...A Socialist Democracy or Communist Dictatorship
