Who’s going to lead the revolution? Boehner the orange crybaby? Limbaugh from his beachfront mansion? We have no leaders. They have all sold out and are part of the same corrupt system as the Statist. We have no future. This site will be shut down eventually so enjoy it while you can.

These articles all seem to follow the proviso the current $16 tillion in debt and the coming 20 Trillion by 2016 is not a factor. All that has to happen is the interest rates on this debt begin rising rapidly because no nation nor even the Fed, an amalgamation of banks, decide they don’t want any more. When that happens, things will snowball quickly into a catastrophy and the nation as we know it will not survive IMO.

Bobby Jindal was right about Mitt Romney’s comments, if the GOP seeks to survive as a party, it’s going to have to appeal to 100% of the people.

It may be necessary to say that, for the public record, but as a strategy it is wrong, wrong, wrong.

If the GOP is to prosper(not just survive) it will need to forge a reliable 60% coalition. And let the other 40% make do with lip service. That's how the 'rats do it, and it works.

Now that more of the votes have been tallied, it looks like Romney got about as many votes as McCain did - not three million less.

It also looks like the President lost 5.5mm votes from 2008.

There is about a 4mm vote differential.

I believe that differential could be due simply to people hoping that a second Obama administration would give mortgage relief and student loan relief.

In other words, I don't believe that these Americans have a fundamental commitment to the welfare mentality - it's short-term fear in a nasty economy.

A lot of them beleived that Romney could turn it around by 2016, but they would be bankrupt by then.

At the risk of sounding treasonous I must state flatly that mass democracy has FAILED miserably. The sheeple in this country will simply to vote to elect politicians and political parties which promise them stuff. Our $16 trillion national debt——while monstrous and insane to us——means NOTHING to them so long as the Federal Reserve can continue to buy up our bonds and print Monoploy money.

Our Founding Fathers established a limited government constitutional republic. They established an Electoral College to elect the president. They wanted nothing to do with mob rule or mass democracy-—they were horrified by the disastrous results of the French Revolution.

We must accept the fact that mass democracy has failed us, mob rule has bankrupted us. Our Constitution, which was written with the primary purpose of limiting the power of the federal government (granting most powers to the states under the 10th Amendment) is NOT being followed in Washington.

We have a POTUS who is implementing the same ideas of Hugo Chavez in Venezuela: Get most of the people hooked on government entitlements and support programs so they will continue to support you, meanwhile nationalize or control the main industies (like healthcare) and in Venezuela the big oil companies. I don’t think Obama will seek a third time outright, but the Dems will rule indefinitely. But unless we the people take action to restore our limited government constitutional republic, it’s over. Many think it is already too late. Democracy may sound nice, but when people want stuff, it must come from others. Democracy is not compatible with limited government. We need a government which protects states rights, individual rights, taxpayers rights, gunowners rights, unborn rights, property rights, the right of private business and free enterprise. We don’t have such a government. Major and necessary changes are warranted. This isn’t my country anymore. I don’t recognize it all. I feel like Captain von Trapp after he returned from his honeymoon.
