Yet that is the course Barack Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi -and the entire Democrat Party- have charted for America.

This whole thing has confused and frightened me from the very beginning.

I can understand that there may be one or two people in the DNC who have extreme ideas about entitlement and ‘leveling the playing field’ for their constituents. THAT goes with out saying.

What I don't get is that the entire Liberal establishment has chosen to ignore the many and widespread gains for underserved and disadvantaged Americans which have been made over the past few decades… (that Liberals deny any of this was even possible without bipartisan support and a grievous burden to taxpayers IS understandable).

BUT, that this same Liberal establishment is recklessly and irresponsibly throwing itself Pell Mell into an irreversible and ruinous agenda to EXPAND on this already costly agenda, without looking left or right, without the slightest compunction about the obvious and avoidable consequences is too frightening to me!

It seems like a wave of mindless and pathological hysteria has swept over them, turning everyday and ordinary people into bloodthirsty, rapacious animals who bear no resemblance to civilized and socialized humans...turning them into people who have not the least thought for their actions!

It reminds me of the scene in ‘Zorba the Greek’... when the people of the town descended on the old woman's home and took everything of hers, even BEFORE she had drawn her last breath! Animals!

I think it is intentional of the Democrat-Socialist party to impose Cloward-Piven strategy on the US Economy so that it will collapse under it’s own weight. Then the plan is to impose a U.N. backed, Marxist dictatorship on America.

They will need to confiscate guns first, so watch for signs of - oh wait, Obama ran to the U.N. right after the election to renew talks for the Small Arms Treaty, what a coincidence.

Affirmative action programs and all the rest of the Government programs and benefits available to these groups have been in place for VERY long now. The boulders in their path have been systematically removed, the way ahead has been paved and lighted like a virtual highway to success. The way ahead is a smooth and unobstructed course the likes of which NO OTHER PEOPLE in America ever enjoyed in their struggle to educate themselves and establish a career !!!

The point is, if you WILL NOT apply yourself, you will ALWAYS feel that you deserve MORE! Who will hold your hand from the instant you are born until, like a spoiled child, your every whim is fully satisfied? Where does this END?

the current gdp is about $16 trillion. the chart is saying the debt will be around $32 in 24 yrs?

WAY off.

we’ve been spending $4 trillion/yr for the last 3-4 yrs, while only bringing in $2 trillion in tax revenue. once 0bamacare hits, it will tack an EASY $1-2 trillion to our debt EVERY YEAR.

if we continue on the current course... in 24 yrs, the national debt would be somewhere NORTH of $88 trillion ($16 trillion + $3 trillion * 24 yrs)

meanwhile, on the current spending path... in 4 years, our debt will go from $16 trillion to AT LEAST $28 trillion ($16 trillion + $3 trillion * 4 yrs)

... and there WILL NOT be any way to get out of that hole.

Christians need to go a lot further than abortion and same-sex marriage. The Obama/Democrat agenda is institutionalized envy, jealousy, covetousness, bitterness and theft. Christians look at the left’s agenda of envy/jealousy/covetousness/bitterness and fall for the lie that it is all love and light. They weigh abortion against the “great charitable heart” of Democrats and come out for Democrats. Charity is giving what is yours to others. The Democrats compound sin with sin, evil with evil. There is no trade off. Do Christians even bother to ask how is it even possible for politicians who are such ardent advocates of abortion and sodomy to be paragons of virtue on other issues?
There are no redeeming virtues to be found in the Democrat agenda.
