Ghandi was opposing civilized men. The British army may have committed atrocities but the average british citizen was appalled by them. We do not face civilized men but rather godless savages who try to disguise themselves. They may talk about tolerance and peace and other values you and I share but to them such talk is only a means to use our virtue against us. Make no mistake, the average leftist would have no problem with the government sending you or I to a concentration camp or gas chamber.
