The hairdresser (a middle aged black lady) that my wife goes to stated that she could not understand how any black person could have voted for the Food Stamp President. My wife had never brought the subject up before and assumed that she probably would have voted for him. What my wife had missed were two telltale signs: she had a job and worked every day and she was deeply committed to her church.

Look at it this way. the percentage who voted for the GOP went up about 6% this time...from 95 to 89% voting Dem. If you assume the percentage in those magical precincts of Philly, Cleveland and other big cities are at 100%, with large populations, I would imagine the % among middle class that we would encounter day to day is probably more like 75% or less...not that far out of the norm. 2008 was a near lock among African Americans, and I understand to some extent in that one. This time, if pretty much fell back into historical norms between the parties.

The investment team that took over Hostess after their last bankruptcy are mostly Leftwingtards who misused their power in government to enrich each other.

This is their second bankruptcy and finally antiquated systems and a mistmatch with the market put them under.

I got a feeling that Hostess was probably going to go out of business no matter what.
If you can’t make a ton of cash off of selling junk food to Americans you must be doing something wrong

Union workers can be expensive. It hasn’t worked so well for the autos regardless of the volume of people buying cars - or the airlines....

When you lose money with every sale, you can’t really make it up by volume.

Obama is about to give the unions card check, and the NLRB is about to force companies to turn over the names and addresses of all their employees.

With these two tools, the unions can forge the signatures of enough employees to force the unionization of any company without the consent of anybody.

This time next year, we'll all be paying dues to the unions' Democrat campaign finance slush fund.

In the remake of Dr. Zhivago, will the scene in which the doctor’s father-in-law announces, “I will now light up the last half of the last Havana cigar in Moscow.” become “I will now consume the last half of the last Hostess Twinkie in Washington.”?

“...my satire was ah-rite too...”

Absolutely. I scrolled back and checked it out. I think you’ve captured the spirit. The next line could have been something to the effect that it needs to be illegal to go out of business. That’ll fix it!
