What caused the Federal Bureau of Investigation to play the role of voyeur in the affair between David Petraeus and Paula Broadwell?

We have been told that FBI agent Fred Humphries—the instigator of the original investigation into “threatening emails” sent by Broadwell to Jill Kelley–was concerned that secret documents might have been passed to or stolen by Broadwell. Yet the FBI made it clear that a breach of national security was NOT at issue in their investigation. “By late October, the FBI had concluded there was no national security breach and was only pursuing a criminal investigation of the harassing emails and whether Petraeus had...

Actually: First things first, why was a general who has men dying on his field of battle every day wasting his time with a biographer?

There’s a theory circulating online that today’s top brass isn’t up to the standard set by high command in by-gone years. I have no idea whether this is true, but the theory is out there.

Because men dying on the battlefield was not his concern. obama's ROE made damn sure of it. So what else beside kiss karzai's rear was he going to do?

Anyone wanting on or off this ping list, please advise.

Actually, the original emails made it clear that the sender knew the private comings and goings and schedule of General Allen and General Patreaus. That is what started the case. hat was Ab initio a potential threat to national security.
Should have been reported to intel committees right away.
Instead, after nothing was done in that reagrd, the agent tried to do the right thing and let someone know he thought this was being mishandled. His reward, a smear campaign that mischaracterized some playful funny photos he send to a number of friends, long before Jill Kelly brought this case to him.

Clearly this would cause Obama to view Petraeus as a very real danger, so he instructed the FBI to take him out. David Petraeus wasn’t forced to resign because of some ridiculous affair. Rather, he had become a disloyal threat in the eyes of Barack Hussein Obama. And the incessantly corrupt cannot risk the continued existence of “unreliable” people who know too much about their thuggish and criminal ways. It’s far too dangerous.

What if the Obama Administration keeps threatening the generals and their families to keep the generals quiet? Wouldn't the military assign personnel to protect the generals and their families?

Shouldn't that be reason enough to impeach the ideological/biological issue of 1960s Marxist-Alinsky campus radical, psycho spoiled brats; namely, Obama?

What if they all kept quiet about it and a clash occurs involving a shootout between America's military and the Obama Administration civilians (e.g., the Obama/Holder Dept. of Just Us)? Then can we admit that there are two Americas and settle this once and for all?

The other America's Elite Class New Normal:

In his 2008 book The Failure Factory Bill Gertz describes the devastating effect on our national security by the likes of "a generation of 'Clinton generals' who have been schooled in political correctness and who vehemently oppose the [Bush] administration's conservative politics and programs."

Let’s say Obama was up to no good in some foreign countries. Which government agencies would possibly find out about that? I would think CIA, Defense and State. Those agencies would have to be controlled. Do you find it extremely coincidental that Kelley’s sister was married to the guy who handed out the money and favors in postwar Iraq? And large sums of that money are coincidentally missing. Why, it would make you wonder if large sums of money from Libya and Syria just might coincidentally come up missing? And Obama has a $15 million home now in Hawaii? Too many coincidences in this story.

At a minimum it always goes deeper than God and Generals. Throw evil into the mix, and nothing else matters.

All this was handled as though zero wasn’t sure if he was going to be re-elected.

Maybe it wasn’t so much that he worried about being re-elected as it was that he was unsure that he would serve his whole second term. I think he’s really dirty on this.
