Very simple: the largest single cause of uncertainty in the business community right now is Obamacare, which Romney had vowed to repeal. Once Romney lost the election, businesses had to start implementing the layoff plans they had made just in case Obama won.

I know folks hoped Romney would appeal obamacare, but I don’t think he could have or that there is political will to do so. If there were, there would be protests to get it done. I think Romney could have done other things to help business out and that is perhaps what business was hoping for.

Bingo... those of us who own and run small businesses are so screwed with Ozippy having won reelection. For example - a Wisconsin company just announced AFTER the election that they now had to lay of - for starters - 10% of their workforce - 13 layoffs for now. Their company sells equipment to the OIL industry, fracking, etc. Now just what do you think their chances of sustainable business is? HUH? Their business has dropped off dramatically in the last 4 years. Obama is horrible for business. THAT’s why. We were hoping and praying that the Makers would outnumber the Takers who voted for their own demise. Yes, I'm bitter. How do you fix stupid. I'm sick of hearing how the boss shouldn't make more than the factory line guy. YOU run a business, put your fanny, your house on the line to run a business, then get back to me, all you Obama voters.
