PA, OH Job Losses Don't Hurt Rich People
Realville, USA ^ | Nov 15, 2012 | Ombud

Posted on 11/15/2012 7:26:45 PM PST by SquarePants

Pennsylvania and Ohio were two states the GOP thought they could win last week. Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan crisscrossed both states over and over until it seemed endless. They drew some pretty big crowds, too. No matter, both states were confirmed Obama territory within hours of the polls closing, and many economically disadvantaged districts voted near-unanimously for a second Obama term.

I guess you could call today's jobless numbers poetic justice for all the voters who feel like they can vote a standard of living for themselves that they're unwilling to earn. Well, there's 14,000 newly jobless this week in those two states, so those people should expect the lines to be a bit longer. Those people are probably wondering what the future holds for them right now. No doubt the Obama administration just sees that as an opportunity to hav+e more voters dependent on the government, and, therefore, to own more votes.

The people in Ohio and Pennsylvania who I feel worst for, though, are the ones who actually want their economy to work. The workers who want opportunities to provide for their families, and the small business owners struggling unable to hire because of oppressive government policies. But clueless Harry Reid and the DC Dems are quite certain that regulation doesn't cost any jobs.

Here's the kicker - it isn't going to get any better anytime soon. Obama and the Democrats in DC don't seem to have a clue about what makes business work, or how or why private businesses create jobs. You see the folly of their approach in the mass failure of stimulus funded projects. Remaking an economy isn't easy. And remaking an economy based on a hoax is even more of a challenge.. to the point where it's doomed to fail. Entry-level jobs are drying up all over. Papa John's, Red Lobster, and other restaurants are cutting employee hours. Heck, some Denny's are even adding a 5% Obamacare surcharge on their checks. Without entry-level jobs, how does someone get the experience and skill set to get a better job?

A lot of people voted for a second Obama term because they thought Democrats care about the little guy. I have a question for those people. Who gets hurt by entry level jobs drying up? Who gets hurt when waiters and cooks are having their hours slashed? If it's not the little guy, then who, exactly?

No big deal. This is what they voted for - a fundamental transformation. Now, they're as miserable as everyone else. The misery has just been spread around a little bit - to level the playing field.

Washington DC, ... In an afternoon presser at the Treasury
Department, Timothy Geithner announced plans for a new
Republican Unemployment Tax, ...yes you heard that correct,
a tax on unemployed Republicans. Treasury has discovered a
vast, heretofore unknown, source of revenue from unemployed
Republicans...

What? ..you can’t pay that tax? ..because your unemployed?
NO PROBLEM, .. they can just take a car that you own free
and clear. Or maybe a flat screen TV. that’s the beauty,
you get to choose.

Many “rich” people and corporations will defend themselves if they are smart adding to the misery's of those recently out of work and
those struggling. Charitable contributions both on corporate and personal levels will drop. Corporations will cap their contribution to employee health plans leaving the employee holding the bag. It will take time but the Obama voters will feel the pain.

Yes, they will feel the pain, but they won’t blame Obama for it. They have blindly accepted the “evil rich” doctrine. They will then clamor for Obama to “do something” and he will — he will seize various industries and put them under government control.

he will seize various industries and put them under government control.

After that, there will be no motivation to work and succeed. They'll fail as miserably as the government schools. The parasite will have have killed off another host.

You are correct, short term. But more and more the smarter people are waking up to the lies being fed to them by the enemedia. Unfortunately, we are still not a voting majority yet and that is why the DemonRats are rushing instant citizenship for illegal aliens to swell the ranks of the stupid.

Maybe instead of Texas asking to separate, we should sponsor a separate country in northern Mexico. Most of the industrious Mexicans I've met in my life come from the north. Sponsor their independence and, within a generation, we would have a functional neighbor on our southern border instead of the dysfunctional entity we have now.

Why hasn’t the favorite tax dodge of the Kennedys and the Fords and the Johnson & Johnson clan been mentioned as a source of revenue? Tax all foundations in the USA. Many of them promote Leftist causes and are destructive to the USA.

Don’t forget Bill Gates and Warren Buffet and that whole group that made the “leave most of it to a foundation” pact.

“some Denny’s are even adding a 5% Obamacare surcharge on their checks.”

They should add an option - sign our petition to repeal it and we’ll give you a coupon to cover the surcharge.
