Maybe Minorities' Values Need Changing
Jewish World Review ^ | Nov 13, 2012 | Dennis Prager

The most widely offered explanation for Mitt Romney's defeat is that the Republican Party is disproportionately composed of — aging — white males. That is, alas, true. But the real question is what Republicans should do with this truth. There are two responses. The nearly universal response — meaning the response offered by the liberal media and liberal academics (and some Republicans) — is that the Republican Party needs to rethink its positions, moving away from conservatism and toward the political center. The other response is for conservatives and the Republican Party to embark on a massive campaign to influence, and ultimately change, the values of those groups that voted Democrat.

They used to have the same American values as anyone else. The whole “black culture” was a creation of the progressives who use it to divide.

I grew up and live in almost exclusively white towns with only 1 or 2 black families and those families have been culturally indistinct. There’s a black kid working on the farm down the road from me. Nobody forced him back to the “crop fields”. He chose to work there with his white farm boy friends.

I don’t think anyone disputes that. The target should be the voters they manipulate.

It is going to take a bit more than a revamp or re package what might have been termed the smaller government party. How to counter decades of public school indoctrination that socialism “ain’t that bad,” government is supposed to help, and America is just another country (founded by old white guys).

The low information electorate is the block to America claiming again her greatness.

Actually, the Republican Party is composed disproportionately of people who believe in the constitution’s limits on the power of government, on limited taxation, and on the princicple that what one earns by one’s own labor, one should keep in order to care for one’s family. They also believe disproportionately in the existence of a Supreme Being who will one day sit in judgment of what one has done with one’s life.

The Democratic Party, meanwhile, is composed primarily of people who believe that what you’ve earned is rightfully mine, and that the endless party of drugs, limitless sex of all varieties, and goofing off should be supported by those who work for a living. They also embrace a virtually endless litany of make believe grudges based primarily on outdated policies and the long ago realities of yesteryear.

Clearly, there are more of the latter characters in the United States than the former.

Personally I think the best thing we could do is show all the “takers” of all races that dependency is slavery.

If that means drug testing welfare recipients, so be it. If that means restricting food stamp users to certain foods, so be it. If it means requiring community service, so be it. Make them flee welfare in fear.

They haven't even conveyed conservative values to many of their children. And when they have, the university has often succeeded in undoing them.

It is hard to compete with Santa Claus. Those values have been conveyed, but as long as the liberals can keep our country in a economic crisis...we'll see more of this kind of stuff from our younger generation. This article gets it wrong as well. It is the neoliberal economy stupid.

----------------------------------------------------------

After this dog and pony show finally came to a close last night I had some real time to think about the effects of "he who shall not be named" winning reelection. I am absolutely amazed how many people in 'Merica vote for someone based on their words, not their actions. People one or two generations older than me like to blame my generation, and it's getting old fast. Those people are partially correct, but only partially. But this tanget isn't about those things. It's a rant about me questioning my own allegiances and beliefs in a political manner.

I would have never voted for Obama, and I didn't. The things he voted for as a Senator and now signed into law as President do not align with my beliefs. But even though I say that, I'm getting ready to separate from the Marine Corps after 10 years of honorable service, and I am going to take full advantage of some of his "social programs".

For example, in some states, you can collect unemployment up to 99 weeks. Obama signed off on that. Yes it had to be passed as well but his administration pushed it and got it. While I earn my engineering degree at college starting this January, I will be on unemployment. I don't know for how long but initially I will be. Once I'm off active duty I will no longer rate TriCare for my wife, my son, and my daughter for health benefits. Thanks to the Affordable Healthcare Act, and Obama extending W.I.C. benefits, my family is going to be covered while I go to school. And since both of my children are currently getting services from the state of California.

Some Republicans wanted to get rid of the Earned Income tax credit in recent proposed budget bills. It's free money essentially for people with children. Personally I love getting almost $9k a year back in taxes, and almost half of it comes from this. Obama's people fought to keep this in. I know what some people might be thinking, $9k is a lot of money come tax time, but let me clarify something. I am a Sergeant (E-5) in the United States Marine Corps with 10 years of service and 2 children. So please tell me I get too much help come tax time and I'll show you a pissed off Marine that has fought for and earned it.

This reflection brought me to a real conclusion about how I want to vote, but who I "should" vote for. It's a real tug of war between what you believe, and what you need.

“Clearly, there are more of the latter characters in the United States than the former.”

It only appears that way. That’s why they had to cheat in this and every other national election since who knows when.

Its a duh, and I’m offended to have to read about leftist racism discussed in such a scholarly way.

They dare attack me for being white while minorities vote 98% for one candidate. And they attack people with the wisdom of age.

Sure, let’s switch to a society of kids and minorities taking drugs, etc. It’s a 60’s nightmare come to fruition.

F the left and its evil racism, tell them straight out.

The vast majority I have known (not all, mind you) have this one principle value:

What's mine is mine and what's yours is mine.

They don’t get rich. They just want to bring everyone else down to their level.

They haven’t? Many conservatives send their kids to public schools and liberal universities and wonder why they turned into atheist leftists.
