DO NOTHING

DO NOTHING

Post election musings.

I am sick. Sick that this country has sunk so low. Ronald Reagan could not win today against slick Santa. At least he could not win in a presidential year election. There is too much at stake now for the takers in a land of bread and circuses.

There are two electorates today: a Presidential electorate and an off-year electorate. The takers are too lazy to come out and vote in the off years. Or they don’t understand its importance. That’s when we win seats in Congress.

So I say to Boehner, DO NOTHING. Hey, there was nothing we could do the first two years of this hateful president’s administration, and look what happened in 2010. The Marxist’s policies cannot succeed, and Bush bashing just isn’t going to work anymore. If republicans just lie low for 2 years, they can’t be blamed for being obstructionists, and the media will have no choice but to slowly turn on the Marxist.

Let them raise taxes. Let them stop pumping oil and digging for coal. Let gas prices and regulations rise. It won’t be just the rich that feels it. Obamacare doesn’t go into effect until 2014 which should also play into the off-year elections. The only place I would hold firm is in Supreme Court appointments, and I suspect that the Marxist will find it difficult to hold all his democrat senators in line for his appointees. The man is not respected or loved even in his own party, and there are many out to succeed him. Democrats will now be out devouring their own.

There is always a second term curse. The Marxist will get his. There are too many scandals in his administration: Benghazi, CIA, Fast & Furious, vote tampering, crony capitalism, government waste, Muslims and communists in the administration, not to mention another recession and monetary downgrades, etc. etc.

And once Hillary resigns, Obama will truly know what revenge is.

The Marxist will leave office disgraced and discredited just like Clinton. His will be a failed presidency, because he cannot lead much less govern. But of course he will still be beloved by his minions and idolators and idiots just like Clinton continues to be.

I no longer believe that conservatism wins every time. When we lose Catholics, women, the young voters; I don’t know where we get the votes. At least not in presidential voting years.

I am sad for Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. They are good people; decent people. Too good for what this country has become.

The majority of young people will not vote for a conservative candidate. They have been brought up by parents who have given them everything they wanted from the cradle with no consequence. Obama is just an extension of this thinking. Women with children out of marriage also like this santa claus environment. Forget about the Catholics, they are no longer listening to their church leaders - do as I want but forgetting about their souls.

That was the case in 2008. All the democrats have to do is put up any Santa sock puppet promising free stuff, and they will win.

Until the money runs out.

This post hits home with me. The day after the election this is what I put on my Facebook page, I got several ‘likes’ and a few comments. It disappointed me at the ones who chose to ignore my post....tells me a lot about them.

This is my post:

I just realized how I was feeling since Tuesday. I am in mourning, my heart is broken just as it was 46 years ago when my dad suddenly died. I am grieving for my kids, grandkids, gr/grandkids, nephews, and nieces....they will not get to grow up in the wonderful country that we had to grow up in, with so much hope & promises for the future.......I am SO mad at the ignorant millions who voted for this impostor just for a stinking cell phone!!

No there is more than that.

People voted against Chinese manufacturing.

People voted against Romney’s religion.

It was overall sort of close. If Romney were not a Mormon, he would have won.

Running a Mormon was a huge mistake.

Sure Mormons are patriotic and self-sufficient: both things we as a country need more of.

But they are also insular and that turned a lot of voters away.

Don’t make that mistake again.

We need to run our finest next time.

Not our “B” team, which after Palin stood down, we ended up with this year.

You know that’s not a bad thought. If it’s possible, Boehner should do the same thing Reid is doing.

If the GOP does nothing, they will lose in 2014.

That’s just recognizing fact.

This is going to be a tough two / four years. The media is on the Dems’ side.

What the GOP should do I do not know yet, but nothing, is probably a way out of office next election.

The majority of Catholics that voted for Obama were not church-going Catholics, but Catholics in name only, according to ETWN.

I sympathize with your hurting heart, GrannyK. It is sad beyond words.

As for those who think doing nothing won’t work, how do you explain 2010 ? It wasn’t because of republicans in Congress.
It was the Tea Party, and it wasn’t a presidential voting year.

There are two electorates that show up every two and four years. We have the advantage in the off-years, because their side is too stupid or lethargic.

Yup. On the fiscal cliff, Zero may be bluffing. Raising taxes on 250K + may be an effective campaign tool, but he probably knows it's a stupid idea to implement it and kill more jobs.

I think it's a bargaining chip that Zero intends to trade away at the last minute, in exchange for a carbon tax or some other Marxist agenda item. If Boehner agrees to let him try the tax hike on the 'rich' for a limited time, 12-18 months or so, then Zero will own the next recession. He could just have the House GOP vote 'present'.

I no longer believe that conservatism wins every time.

Wouldn't you have to run a conservative to prove that?

The tide will turn, the next group of conservatives looks good, until then adjust accordingly.

It may be that doing nothing is a good strategy. I’m not sure that it’s the best strategy and I think the Republican party needs to take a disciplined look at how they are doing.

Surely you don’t believe that Gingrich or Santorum could have won ? What choice did we have that wouldn’t have been destroyed by the media and the democrat hatchet men? Santorum wouldn’t get 25% of the women vote based on the war against women campaign.

The Gingrich zingers would have pleased us, but he would be relegated as old news and against seniors. ( remember “withering on the vine” ?)

Rush thinks that Rick Perry could have won. Maybe, if he could think on his feet. I think Perry could have run the roughest race against the Marxist - giving as well as he got - but he had that problem of not coming off as smart enough.

I respectfully disagree with that. The thing about Reagan is that he believed in conservatism and explained it to people.

The problem, in my opinion, is that we have had no one to champion conservative ideas with the same heartfelt passion and actually have the balls to apply it. I bet we would win if we did.

And you know what? What harm would happen if we actually tried and lost? We would lose anyway, LOL? If that happened and we lost, then I could then honestly say to hell with it all and just let it all burn down. Government IS the problem and I don't know many people personally that would argue otherwise.

The demoncrats and a their propaganda arm (the drive by media) have successfully defined Republicans as a party of rich racist white guys. Blacks, Latinos and other minorities will always vote against the "rich racist white guys." Also, a tremendous number of the electorate WANT socialism and policies/laws that destroy the nuclear (traditional) family.

Those who hate Christ hold many high places in government, media, education and business. They have successfully turned the hearts of many Christians against the faith of their fathers. To God's enemies I say, there is no future in fighting against God's Son. One way or another America and His enemies will learn this lesson.

PSALM 2 - SPEAKS OF JESUS, HIS ENEMIES and HIS CHURCH

Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing? 2 The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, 3 “Let us break Their bonds in pieces And cast away Their cords from us.”

4 He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision. 5 Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, And distress them in His deep displeasure: 6 “Yet I have set My King On My holy hill of Zion.”

7 “I will declare the decree: The Lord has said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. 8 Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession. 9 You shall break[a] them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.’”

10 Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of the earth. 11 Serve the Lord with fear, And rejoice with trembling. 12 Kiss the Son,[b] lest [c] He be angry, And you perish in the way, When His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.

Maranatha!

I’m not saying the republican party should play dead. They should give the appearance of giving resistance, proclaiming conservative values, but admitting that they can’t get bills past the Senate.

Kind of like what they’ve been doing all along since 2010.

I sure wouldn’t act like Boehner and dance with Obama like Christie did. Give the appearance of the good fight, but let it be known you are impotent to stop the democrat programs.

If you take away the Marxist’s punching bag what is he going to do ?
