Recommended dealers in West Virginia? (vanity)

A long-time FReeper here, thinking about making a brief shopping excursion into West Virginia. Looking for retail recommendations -- dealers known for quality, selection, and value. "One-stop shopping" for the Christmas goodies that a Constitution lover would want and need for 2013. Recommendations? Thank you!

Cabelas!

(Only because they don’t have a Bass Pro Shop)

But may I also suggest Ace Sporting Goods just over the line here in Washington, PA? They are like-minded thinkers and support Quinn and Rose.

If the products you are buying require Federal clearance and you are not a resident of the state in which you are buying them, the sale will be blocked.

Agree with SK...Cabela’s, off I-70, between PA and OH. For the outdoor man or woman, and so much more. You could literally spend hours in that store.

Moonshine? Hell, we got that in Greene County. While you're there, you can even swing by the prison and visit Jerry Sandusky. Tell him to hang in there since Obama and his crowd are working on declaring that type of behavior normal.

Seriously, your easiest stop in West Virginia is the first exit just past the Pennsylvania line: Cabela's in Wheeling. I suspect it could play a role similar to what Harper's Ferry did in our last Civil War.

Fiber Arts

Fine Art

For the Cook

(Hmm. No ‘Firearms’)

Glass

Jewelry

(No ‘Guns’ either. Let’s check Outdoor - Sporting Goods. Let’s see...Glass Call, Turkey Call, Friction Call. OK, now that I’ve called ‘em in, what do I do? Net and strangle them with macrame’?) ;)

Just kidding! (I think our New Jersey FRiend has something less artistic and more metallic in mind.)

Also, sorry for the duplicate post. Stupid network stalled on me and I hit it twice.

I use the Brady scorecard -- except I use it in reverse; the lower the score, the more I like it. Pennsylvania's score (26 out of 100) is a little too high for me. But thanks for the suggestion -- I may just stop in and check it out....

There's an excellent chance that this will be my destination. Thanks....

That could be a reasonable conclusion.....

I use the Brady scorecard system, but not the way Brady intends: the lower the score, the more I like that state. W. Virginia is the lowest score (4) within one day’s driving distance from me, followed by Vermont and New Hampshire (each, 6), then Ohio and Maine (each, 7). Indiana is 4 and Kentucky is 2, but those are just a hair outside my one-day driving radius.
