I know God won’t find me lacking for casting my vote for the candidate whom most closely represents His principles.

My job is to be faithful to truth. It’s God’s responsibility to take care of the rest.

John Quincy Adams said, “Duty is ours; results are God’s.”

Whether or not a person can lose their salvation has been debated by more intelligent people than myself for centuries.

You are presumptuous as well as wrong.

I supported several candidates in the Primary before being left with Romney as the only choice.

I simply REFUSE to let others claim some type of “moral high ground” when the nominee is not “pure” enough for them.

I call such people out as cowards and frauds and as stupid, as they have allowed Obama and liberalism to win.

Vote for the lessor of evils.

Until Jesus is on the ballot, this is what every election is all about.

“And what did you do to help defeat the destroyer in chief???”

I was on our state party ballot security team making sure every county in Texas was having a fair election during early voting and election day. Never moved from my computer on election day as I was solving voter problems all day, along with the other members of the team, until voting was over that evening.

Did you work all day election day from 7 am until 8 pm? I did. Are you an election law expert? I am.

Paul isn’t speaking in the context of the maturity that comes from worldly wisdom.

What Paul speaks about is the maturing love of Christ who leads us from sin’s childish ways to becoming a true child of God.

I fully take responsibility for my actions and know that one day I will stand before my King and account for those actions which is why I voted for the candidate who is a social and fiscal Conservative and a Christian.

You are presumptuous as well as wrong.
***Really? Romney won?

I supported several candidates in the Primary before being left with Romney as the only choice.
***Primary is over. Election is over.

I simply REFUSE to let others claim some type of “moral high ground” when the nominee is not “pure” enough for them.
***Then that makes you a troll. Because not only were the moral highground types right, but they are obviously conservative. And you’re berating conservatives on a conservative forum. Would you go to a unicorn forum and berate those who had firmer unicornian beliefs than you? If so, you’d be a troll. Your posting is better suited at GOP.com, where you would not be a troll.

I call such people out as cowards and frauds and as stupid, as they have allowed Obama and liberalism to win.
***They were not cowards. They stood their ground. They are not frauds. They held to their principles. They were not stupid. They were right. You, on the other hand, have compromised your principles, making you damaged goods. Proceeding from your moral low ground, you berate those more conservative than you on a conservative forum. That’s a double L on your forehead, making you a troll as well.

Vote for the lessor of evils.
***No. There is a certain line for every person. The GOP is too stupid to know what that line is for millions of republicans. We all know the GOP-e would LOVE to put forth an unabashed pro-choice pro-babykilling candidate. Millions would not pull the lever for such a candidate, and for you to berate such socons after what would be an obvious loss would be a sign that you aint conservative. That same line exists for quite a few who simply did not trust Mitt because he flipflopped on abortion and so many other things, he was just mouthing his support but still sending checks to Planned Parenthood. For you to berate someone who has that internal moral line they won’t cross is a sign that you are not conservative.

Until Jesus is on the ballot, this is what every election is all about.
***Stupid argument intended to hyperbolize and exaggerate so much to the point that it becomes a logical fallacy.

I don’t believe we had many spoilers here. They had the biggest mouths (spamming every thread) so it probably appeared to be more. Ignore them! They became irrelevant in this election. I have a family member like that, old and grumpy loud mouth, never satisfied with anything. We live in a world full of dumb asses.

Don’t give up. I recall how disappointed I was in 2008 when the Kenyan won the election, then 2010 happened. I expect 2014 to be another 2010 because things are about to get much, much worse.

Our military never gives up the fight, neither will I.

You have a very childish view of the world.

You are so PERFECT you will help NOONE ELSE who is not also PERFECT!

And then, after you and your silly kind have a self-fullfilling “prophecy” you say;

LOOKY LOOKY WE WERE RIGHT!

You do not operate in the real world, and you send the message that conservatives should be IGNORED!

Take up knitting, you SUCK at politics!

Reward your friends, punish your enemies!

(You reward our enemies, which makes you an idiot!)

Now you’re just getting shrill. I suppose perhaps that’s the last step in the process of realizing you’ve been a troll and that you need to change.

Huh?

Your tactics have NEVER worked.

My strategy works more times than it does not.

However, my POINT in this thread is to point out that I consider my strategy morally superior to YOUR “purest” strategy.

I look down on you.

Look down on me all you want, but there are more who think as I do, than think as you do, and we are right.

***Yeah, right. How’s that president Romney thing going? Or President Bob Dole? Or President McLame?

However, my POINT in this thread is to point out that I consider my strategy morally superior to YOUR “purest” strategy.
***It’s easy to see that you “consider” it to be morally superior, but you’re simply wrong. If you were right, we’d have president Romney. It is not morally superior to compromise your moral principles. Duhh.

I look down on you. Look down on me all you want, but there are more who think as I do, than think as you do, and we are right.
***Just because there are more of you doesn’t mean you’re right. There are more liberals than conservatives, does that make them right? Just because there are more of you doesn’t make you morally superior.

You live in Ohio. Your lack of a vote to oust O speaks for itself. Part of the maturity in Christ that you refer also refers to living in this world. Like it or not we do....and you are one of many who have thrown the rest of us under the bus.

You see through a glass darkly....and I sure am glad I won’t be in your shoes....

I don’t have to be an election law expert. I not only worked the poll at my precinct level, I helped other campaigns throughout the country. So don’t think you are soooo unique. You ain;t.

I’m a Texan, like you dfwgator. With the large and growing hispanic population Texas may become Dem territory by the next election.

This election has sickened me and I believe the “purists” may partially be responsible for taking away our last chance.

How is it, that Texas has predominantly blacks and latinos in their inner cities, just like all of the Blue States, and yet Republicans win State races, we must be doing something right. Maybe it’s time for the National GOP to listen to us.

This one was PURE RINO. Disappeared off FR after July to offer up her whine just tonight...

Usually, it is courtesy to ping someone when talking about them. Did you ever think that maybe Hocndoc dropped off because she has actually been working for the cause, not just mouthing off on the internet? As someone who knows what Hoc does for the pro-life movement in Texas, I find it disgusting how quick folks want to throw her to the lions in their own little arena of entertainment.

She is owned thanks by people on the right, not your ridicule.

I don’t follow the ‘count’ in all the cities but perhaps it’s because Texas is so huge and small towns and rural areas are still conservative and over ride the inner-city vote.

The funny thing is that the Black gangs and Hispanic gangs seem to hate each other and are always at war. Yet the hispanic parents must like Obama and vote for the dems for all the ‘goodies’ they give. Don’t know if I’m making much sense, I’m tired and sickened by our loss.

Texas is far better off than most states and I think the hispanics are just uninformed of Obama’s corruption and think the Pubs will take things away from them......??

Texas population is highly concentrated in DFW/Houston/Austin-San Antonio.

I know, I have relatives in San Antonio, Austin and in the Houston area and they vote Republican. I’m in a central coast city of 70 thousand, many hispanics and yet we are still very conservative here.

I pray I live to see the turn around - for my children’s sake.
