I really hope someone with more backbone challenges this feckless speaker:

ABC NEWS – Asked whether he will make another attempt to fully repeal the Affordable Care Act, Boehner said “the election changes that” and “Obamacare is the law of the land.”

John the Bonehead does not have to be speaker. Nobody in the House has to be speaker.

Get your reps to nominate Newt for speaker. Just remember..the speaker is third in line...

Not unexpected, but still makes me want to express myself in terms unsuitable for this forum. Mother puss-bucket, to borrow from Bill Murray.

Did anyone really expect Obamacare to be repealed?

Haha, have you ever heard of any government program being repealed?

Members of certain religions that don’t pay Social Security tax, such as Amish, Hutterites or Mennonites

How does this jibe with Equal Protection?

“Obamacare is the law of the land.”

There once was a time when slavery was the law of the land. That doesn't mean it wasn't worth fighting against.

I guess he forgets that, under the Constitution (I know, Boehner doesn’t follow the Constitution, either) Congress doesn’t have the power to mandate health care on any one. There’s also IPAB and the fact that revenue measures for 0Care originated in the Senate, not The House.

‘Boehner is 1 million% correct there is absolutely nothing he can do about it.’

WRONG! He can cut off the funding. He can do that by SHUTTING DOWN THE GOVERMNEMT until O’Bumbler acquiesces to his will. That is called solid negotiating and use of power.

"It would be nice if this drunken fool would DEFUND Obamacare."

I take it you failed civics and/or Government? It takes both Houses AND the POTUS to do such.

Do you see Obama and Harry Reid jumping on board to your proposal?

Elections have consequences. Obamacare is here to stay until you get the Democrats out in the Senate and the White House.

Most people don’t realize just how bad Obamacare will be.

What do you expect him to do? It is the law of the land. The House has voted to repeal it already and that bill just dies in the Senate. A bill to reveal will never even hit the President’s desk. Votes to defund will never pass the Senate.

Seriously, we just lost an election. Given a chance to vote in a Republican Senate and Republican President to repeal Obamacare, the public did just the opposite. They re-elected Obummer and elected more Democrats in the Senate. Infact, we lost more seats in the House than it originally looked like too.

There is no public will to re-fight this. When the public has just made it clear they aren’t with the GOP on an issue, why would you expect Republicans to start down this road again?

Let it happen. Let the Bush tax cuts expire, let hospitals and doctors close their doors, let the producers sell their companies rather than pay the fees, let the layoffs begin, let the people have to more money to buy government cars, let the elderly be rationed care, let the elderly die, let the indigent vote themselves funds from the public trough.

Damn right. My attitude is... my family's taken care of... so to hell with them. Shove this sh*t into American voters' faces every flippin' time they turn around. They wanted this crap sandwich, they can eat it.. every single g*d damned day. Remind those cretins....

ELECTIONS...HAVE...CONSEQUENCES!!!!

I say: "Defund #ObamaCare OR repeal @johnboehner"

Never happen. More than 51% of the country said, "to hell with freedom. I want pie. Gimme."

Won’t matter...if you don’t provide the money to distribute in the first place, he can pound sand.

What good is the power of the purse if you will not use it?

But then, i am just a BITTER clinger...and a sore loser.

BULLSH*T!!!

The GOP holds the purse strings. They can defund it if they want....but NOOOOOOO, the GOP won’t do it because they’re SOOOOO sensitive and tolerant....with MY freedom and MY money.

I HATE THESE BASTARDS! They deserved to lose.

I’d love to shove that little, white board up Rove’s flabby a$$.

Good-bye GOP!
