Boycott-revenge

Posted on 11/07/2012 1:30:38 AM PST by jackal7163

On another thread we had a discussion and decided that we would target one msm organization for boycott. If we can take down just one organization, we can force the others to be more objective. NBC/MSNBC is our target. We are going to see whether we can force their advertisers to leave them. Tomorrow we shall post a list of their advertisers for a letter writing campaign and make a list of products to avoid. Let's use this defeat to start a new battle and win the war!

The problem is that most of us don’t watch NBC/MSNBC anyway. I might be buying some of the products advertized there but I wouldn’t even know that for sure.

That’s why a list will be made, so you’ll know what not to buy

With hateful shows like “The New Normal” and Fox broadcast has “Glee” and every channel is hateful toward Christians and conservatves, then what do we do?

We all have family addicted to the tube I bet.

An attack on the media will be more effective than an attack on the dims, because like it or not, they do shape opinion. A strong public campaign can take away their legitimacy and credibility and 10% of the dims’ vote

Well, we’ve been mapping the f*cks for many years. We have a massive database of them, both the sites and the persons and the connections.

The info is available to our people.

“We all have family addicted to the tube I bet.”

As with all addictions, it can be over come. Record how many hours you are mindlessly watching the boob tube. Cut back half and work down from there. It really does not take long to learn that TV doesn’t add to life. It subtracts.

Let’s do this! This is something that we CAN do as a group that will have far reaching consequences and best of all, we can start immediately, with no rino interference

May work, but consider the probability that these media operations are already running at a loss. Certainly MSNBC isnt actually making money. Rather, they are being subsidized as a propaganda operation. We can cut down some of their ad revenue but their owners have deep pockets, being as they are beneficiaries of government - i.e., crony capitalists.
General Electric for instance depends on government mandates and protections for much of its profits. Running a pro-Democrat propaganda unit even at a loss is a small quid pro quo.

Count me in.

Somehow there has to be a shift, and much like the dirty little minions on the left work, if it takes one small step at a time, so be it.

My hope is the filthy msnbc earns a moniker much like fox news morphed into faux news. Of course we are not loaded like dirt ball soros, but we sure as heck can start the process.

Another possibility is a general boycott of all movies in theaters next summer. To get Hollywoods attention. That could definitely hurt them more than an advertiser boycott of already marginal news operations..

Right. We are long overdue in exposing the media. I like this idea.

1) we ned to get the moderator to make this a sticky page
2) post a printable list of advertisers
3) make this a freeper cause-it’s a big community
4) every advertiser that leaves nbc should be required to donate to FR, a la Jesse Jackson boycotts

suggested months ago

nothing happened and the left went ‘into battle’ with all their weapons at the ready

now(?!) you think boycotting will change anything? LOL

you want to boycott something... boycott congress ... defund them

they’d hear that

Here’s the thing: there’s usually dirt to find on the people behind and in these operations. Often they are linked to straight up terrorists for money and ideology. I’ll give you and example:

In Norway (and yes, the whole problem is global by now) we have this organization for ethical trade. It works on the shakedoown principle a bit like Jesse’s sh*t. The main point is far left and boycotting Israel. A great percentage of Norwegian companies are members, and all of the members needs a boycott.

In reality this is a pro-HAMAS movement.

It would happen much quicker if conservatives had the courage to boycott the IRS. :)
