Voted in union county, nj at around 830 am.
No lines at all. Took my 9 year old son into
the booth and let him press the Romney button!

While I live in a heavily Republican municipality in a heavily GOP county here in NJ, the lines were much longer than usual. Looked like Romney voters to me.

Which county is it?

I am like a lot of New Jerseyans, I am a registered Democrat, so I can go to the dinners and the local picnics, and I vote Republican.

By their logic, I just voted for Obama. FOFLMAO.

Remember all of the press are ignorant fools !!

We had a huge tree fall and kill our deck, but that is minor compared to others. Atlantic City, Ventnor, Margate & Longport & Ocean City are a mess. Many cannot go back to their homes. The flooding was beyond anything we have ever seen. If you ride thru there, there is furniture and carpet on every curb. The sand on the streets from the flooding is being plowed like snow. My sister lost everything - the water was over the mattress on her bed. It is still a mess, but people are pulling together and digging out. God is still good, even in disaster!

Yes, unfortunately you are not allowed to wear any political message when entering or exiting a polling place. You must be 100 feet? yards? away from the polling place if you have a sign or political message. Shirts would have to be turned inside out until you exit.

I have one friend whose house and cars were totally flooded and ruined. She and her husband are so grateful for the help of everyone. Other friends fared a little better but it is a horrible experience they are enduring.

God is still good, even in disaster!

You are a person of real faith. What a wonderful attitude. Keep sharing it!

Voted about 8 am this morning. Waited in line about 5 minutes. Steady stream of people, who appeared to be voting before heading out to work. Monmouth County, traditionally republican.

Sorry for your sister, but glad to hear you’re good. Hang in there and you are right. God IS good, even in a disaster.

To: fedupjohn; Mrs. Frogjerk
district 3 - # 303 and #304 at about 12:20 pm. Mrs. Frogjerk spoke with poll worker and one voting machine was out for 6 hours because it would only let you vote for one candidate (I wonder who?).

Lines looked normal but there was an issue if you split your vote on the State ballot questions where you would have to fill out all of your votes on a paper ballot. That is going to be a contentious issue.

Middlesex county here. Waited somewhere around 30-45 min to vote. Lines were like they were in 08. Out the door.

The weird thing is in 08 I knew everyone was voting for Obama. This time- it felt different. It was like OMG- I think my blue neighbors are voting red! But you know, they won’t ever own up to it.

Voted about 1:30 PM here in the Hub of South Jersey - light traffic, more than usual young and female - I was number 450, and usually at the same time in other votes come up about number 350 or so - clerk said traffic had been heavy up until that point - good sign in our heavily Republican area ('rats can't even get anyone to run for mayor anymore) - while I was waiting and wife was in booth voting a couple of young punks, excuse me, boisterous young people came in and announced loudly that they wanted to vote for Obama - clerk was attempting to show them the ballot and how they would vote once they were determined to be registered, if they were, when I went into the booth and lost track of what happened - just impressed me as a good example of the kind of Obama voter out there - ill-informed, ill-prepared, and ill-mannered.....

In other news, sister-in-law's co-worker went to vote as soon as the polls opened at 6AM - she hates public workers and voted for Romney because she heard he's going to fire all government employees LOL - On the other hand, niece who hasn't voted for years went today - she's a teacher, hates Christie because of how mean he is to her profession, and probably voted Obama because she might believe Romney's going to fire all the public employees - that's how it goes......
