Obama is wrong for America and you must vote for Romney (think Reagan and Churchill)
War to Mobilize Democracy ^ | November 5, 2012 | netWMD Editor in Chief

"Show me a young conservative and I'll show you someone with no heart. Show me an old liberal and I'll show you someone with no brains."

- Winston Churchill

Tomorrow, Americans will be faced with the most important presidential election in recent history. Building on the words of the great statesman Winston Churchill, we: 1) Can forget that we have brains, believe in youthful wishful thinking, fantasize, and vote for Barack Obama; or, 2) we can remember that we have loving hearts tempered/matured with years of life experiences, recognize the truth that our great nation is being led by a man (Obama) bent on turning our great nation into into a 7th-rate failed state like Greece, we can think clearly, and vote for Mitt Romney. The choice between Obama and Romney is stark.

From Obama's political beginnings, he has associated with terrorists, America-haters, and Islamists wishing to impose Islamic law on the U.S. -- "'politically radioactive' individuals" and organizations. The list of his relationships with the likes of Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan, James Meeks, John Lewis, Alcee Hastings, Bill Ayers, Mahdi Bray, and Nihad Awad, and organizations like Trinity United Church of Christ, ACORN, the Muslim American Society's (MAS) Freedom Foundation, and the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) is frightening. While the list of Obama's political blunders as U.S. president are innumerable, several a quite notable.

Obama went, "on a global 'apology tour' after assuming office." The evidence for this escapade of grovelling is indisputable as we have audio-visual evidence of his litany of contrition for what he thinks are America's faults and failings.

For example, our president said, "In America, there's a failure to appreciate Europe's leading role in the world. There've been times when America's shown arrogance, and been dismissive, even derisive..." He was painting with an incredibly broad stroke. The U.K., Germany, and France are Americans' 2nd, 3rd, and 6th favorite countries, respectively. Obama stated, "I also want to be clear that America's relationship with the Muslim community, the Muslim World, cannot and will not just be based on opposition to terrorism." Is it? "...Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, are central to the [U.S.] Navy's operations," by invitation. The U.S. does billions of dollars of trade with Muslim nations. Our universities host a large number of students (foreign nationals) from Muslim countries.

Obama has supported the so-called, "Arab Spring," which is in reality a takeover of the Arab World by radical, Islamist, terrorists and/or terrorist enablers. Obama invited Egypt's new president, Mohammed Morsi, "a member of the Islamist Muslim Brotherhood, a group with a violent past," to meet with him in New York. In Morsi's first public speech, he promised to free a man who helped plan and execute the bombing of NYC's World Trade Center in 1993. Abdel-Rahman hoped to kill as many Americans as possible. His actions led to the murder of 6 innocent people. The Obama, "administration is calling the election of Mohammed Morsi on Sunday a milestone in the transition to democracy." The goal of freeing a convicted terrorist is a democratic milestone? Here's another disastrous consequence of Morsi's coming to power:

... To Egypt's Christian minority, which complains of mounting discrimination, sectarian tensions and periodic outbursts of violence against it, the political atmosphere is ominous as Salafi [ultra-extreme Islamist] parties try to impose their world view on a new constitution that is being drafted. ...

When Gallup has surveyed U.S. citizens and asked them the question, "In the Middle East situation, are your sympathies more with Israel or with the Arab nations?," since 1967 Americans by a wide majority favor Israel. Tiny Israel is Americans' 7th favorite nation. Yet Obama has treated Israel with at best a cold shoulder. Then there's Libya.

American "Ambassador Chris Stevens asked the State Department repeatedly for more security in Libya before he was killed in the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi..." So we knew that the Obama administration was aware that there was a threat to its diplomatic team in Benghazi, Libya and ignored that threat. Subsequently, we found that while American citizens were being attacked by Islamist savages, "U.S. officials" -- the Obama administration -- ordered CIA operatives not to intervene. Just yesterday we learned that:

Documents obtained by former Muslim Brotherhood member Walid Shoebat reportedly demonstrate the Obama administration is to blame for the deaths of Americans in the Benghazi consulate attack because it effectively empowered the Islamic terrorist organization al-Qaida to take over governance of Libya. ...

Then there are Obama's domestic blunders. At the stroke of a pen, Obama basically gave 800,000 illegal immigrants amnesty:

President Obama said Friday the United States will stop deporting hundreds of thousands of young illegal immigrants and give them work permits, a move praised fellow Democrats but criticized by Republicans on Capitol Hill who said the administration has side-stepped the country's legislative process. ...

During their national convention featuring President Obama, Democrats arrogantly flouted U.S. immigration laws and blatantly ignored the majority of Americans' sentiments towards illegal immigration. The Democrats featured an illegal immigrant as a speaker on September 5: "...Activist Benita Veliz was given a prime-time speaking slot..." That's right, an illegal immigrant activist shilling for President Obama's DREAM Act (aka amnesty). But, "54% of likely [American] voters oppose the DREAM Act, compared to 38% who support its passage... U.S. registered voters support stricter enforcement of immigration law over 'integrating illegal immigrants into American society' 68% to 24%." Veliz spoke of the opportunities accorded her as an illegal, opportunities which could of been extended to actual U.S. citizens, but she might just have been prevaricating about her supposed heart-warming story. Finally, there's the economy.

In 2009, President Obama said, "We can not and will not sustain deficits like these without end." "[T]oday, I'm pledging to cut the deficit we inherited in half by the end of my first term in office." According to FactCheck.org, the U.S. deficit has seen, "a rise of more than $4.7 trillion in just over three years," i.e., the time Obama has been in office. FactCheck goes on to say that, "the Congressional Budget Office now projects that it [the national debt] will grow to more than $16 trillion by the end of the current fiscal year on Sept. 30. At that point, the debt will have increased by more dollars in Obama's first four years than it did in George W. Bush's entire eight-year tenure, when it rose by $4.9 trillion. The rise under Obama would then be the biggest dollar increase for any president in U.S. history." As to jobs...

When Obama took office, the U.S. unemployment rate was at 8%. It rocketed up to 10% by late 2009, stayed above 9% until mid 2011, and currently stands at about 8%, an unprecedented level for a developed nation like the U.S.

Addressing the deficit and unemployment, President Obama has played 100+ rounds of golf.

I'm not fantasizing that Mitt Romney is perfect and has magical solutions to all the nation's problems. But I know he's a man of integrity -- just look at how generally calm and conciliatory he was during the presidential debates (maybe too much so). Romney was governor of a state, Massachusetts, which had a Democratic-controlled state legislature. I'd say he understands something about bipartisanship. Romney will certainly not open the floodgates to illegal immigrants. Mitt will not load the Supreme Court up with activist judges; I believe he wants the constitution to be interpreted, not re-written.

Romney understands the danger of Islamists, and will certainly not help them take over the Middle East. Romney will be a staunch supporter of Israel. He understands the importance of our allies in Eastern Europe, and will not kowtow to Russia's megalomaniacal President Putin, as Obama did.

Mitt spent 25 years in the real world of business. Obama was probably socially promoted, wallowed in the ivory tower of Harvard, was a puppet/front-man senator, and his only accomplishment as president has been to saddle our national with crippling debt.

Romney is more likely to follow in the footsteps of presidents like Ronald Reagan, unlike Obama who most closely mirrors the miserable tenure of one of America's worst presidents, Jimmy Carter.

In conclusion, I'll leave you with a quote from the Norwich Bulletin of Connecticut, from its endorsement of Romney for president. The Bulletin's editors highlighted the stark choice between Romney and Obama:

Romney's ideas on the economy and his record of making the difficult decisions in the business world are what this country needs right now. The free enterprise system can work miracles if it is allowed to do so. Romney, and running mate, Congressman Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, understand that and embrace it. The President seems to scoff at it.

Actually what Churchill said was “If one is twenty and not a liberal one has no heart. If one is forty and not a conservative one has no brains.’’ He also said’’ The best argument against democracy is a five minute conversation with the average voter.’’

HEY! WMD net Editor in Chief! Yeah, YOU!

You babble on and on about a politician named Obama, but choose to ignore that half of this Nation’s voters strongly WANT the failures that Obama has burdened us with, and still want 4 more years of the same!

Where is your Journalistic curiosity? What is the appeal to voters of 4 more years of Obamanation?

Doesn’t it wave a red flag that voters cheered when Obama encouraged the voters to “vote as the best REVENGE?”

What is the appeal of that hatred to those voters?

Dim down the laser beam exam of Obama and focus instead on what motivates the voters.

Politicians only have the power that voters give them. Half of the voters will still want a revenge-filled Obama after the election: win, lose or draw.

Without understanding any half of a population of voters, it is unreasonable to assume that our leaders will be able to effectively function.

Wake up WMD, we are a polarized Nation, and we expect ya’ll to at least be curious about why that is so.

BTW, we don’t have a “Democracy,” we have a REPUBLIC.

THOSE ARE THE TWO PICTURES! Thanks!

Look at the shape of Big and little Davis! The lower dentition gives the same shaped bulge. This is Barry Davis!

Upper picture of Pudding-face Obama, Sr. does not match Benghazi-Coward Barack “Obama.”

_________

Yep, I read every word of the article twice and all he did was rant and rave. My inspection found not a sliver of curiosity as to why so many Americans want to buy what “Obama” is selling.

I will hold them accountable for what they say and write until I find just one Journalist who is capable of a reasoned dialogue.
