To our posterity - TOM HOEFLING
Tom Hoefling for President 2012 ^ | November 4, 2012 | Tom Hoefling

This is a blood-bought land
We are a blood-bought people
The LORD purchased our souls
Patriots gave us a nation
Bold, courageous
Declaring self-evident truth
They fought, they died
For those they loved
With unborn millions not forgotten
They accepted and paid the purchase price
So that you and I could be free
Oh, what a supreme shame it would be
To fail to pass along this precious gift
To our posterity

Jonathan Ellis for VP. He filed in all 110 jurisdictions in IL.

Thanks for your support, my friend.

We may not be much in some people’s eyes, but we have raised a standard to which the wise and honest can repair. The event is in the Hand of God.

The only change is this choice isn't third party, it is so in the weeds, it is probably tenth party.

M Nehring, remember your definition of "immaturity" as Romney steadily advances nationalized health care with tax-funded on-demand abortion; remember it as your guy Romney quietly and methodically enables government power grabs over every aspect of American productivity via global warming tyranny; think of it as you watch Romney's administration, with a majority coalition he'll have with Democrats and liberal Republicans, force YOU and YOUR SCHOOLS and ADOPTION AGENCIES and YOUR MILITARY to accept as "normal" the homosexual agenda and PUNISH YOU if you exercise your God-given right and freedom to reject open homosexuality in your workplace, church, military, schools, and community.

The ONLY HOPE America has is for the winner, be it Romney or Obama, to win on a plurality with the majority of American voters rejecting him. It is why I will be voting for Tom Hoekstra tomorrow -- not because I think he will win, but because I REMEMBER that voting for liberals ALWAYS has bad consequences. Sadly, far too many conservatives have conveniently forgotten that hard, cold truth and are eagerly kidding themselves that a "deal with devil" won't betray them.

Those of you voting for Romney will be voting for a liberal statist. You can rationalize it any way you want, but the fact remains that you will be voting FOR a liberal statist. You will reap what you sow.

You stand for nothing since you are voting present. Go ahead and call us Romney voters whatever names you want. We don’t care. Somebody has to get the kenyan out of the white house while you folks play these childish games. Have fun playing pat a cake while the adults remove the marxist kenyan from the WH...

I am voting to fire Obama and install a commander in chief that won’t leave out troops to die when attacked- Period.

Only one of two people will be the next President, Obama or Romney.

Anyone that tells you differently is living in narcissistic fantasy land and is only about stroking their own ego and pride.

They will do just as good to stay home or write in Mickey Mouse. The result would be the same. Hell, if you want to make a statement, just write in your own name. That way you can doubly stroke your own ego. You can gladly proclaim you are ‘not like those other guys, those sinners.’ And you can have the pride of knowing someone saw your name on a ballot for President.

I am usually reminded of this when someone tries to proclaim their actions holier when it is just egocentric.

Lodi, What name did I call you Romney voters? I didn't. You mistakenly think I did because you are emotional, and pure emotion -- fear, to be specific -- is driving your vote.

"Adults" like you will no doubt have fun dictating every aspect of health insurance/health care to individuals and employers, and if you think Romney won't be doing that, you will have a very rude surprise. You "adults" will have fun not "playing childish games" but instead trying to make excuses for a guy who you knew believes in global warming and who will easily ADVANCE its government tyranny because he'll have a majority coalition -- Democrats and liberal Republicans, and they will steamroll for at least four years any and all limited government oppositon.

Yes, you self-proclaimed sneering, condescending "adults" will be causing the GOP to be an agressive agent of government tyranny because YOU WILL BE VOTING FOR IT. You can rationalize it all you want, you can pretend all you want, you can stomp your feet all you want and you can deride and scorn all you want, but in the end, your vote for Romney will be a vote to make the GOP the party of Big Government Tyranny.

That is the cold, hard truth whether you're an "adult" or a child.

Me too, Black Elk. Correction to my post 43 -- not Hoekstra (!!!) but Tom Hoefling, will get my vote tomorrow. Not because I think he'll win, but because I KNOW that the best we can hope for now is for whichever government tyrant wins, Obama or Romney, to win with as little American support as possible and therefore to be DENIED a mandate.

God bless you, Tom, thank you for running, and thank you for standing up for calm, reasoned courage in the face of massive stampeding fear and panic that is fueling Romney's "support" and threatening to hand a popular mandate to a statist liberal and which in hindsight will be seen for the surrender it is.

My tagline is 100 percent accurate.

Reading back on this. I think you are right. Go ahead and vote for Tom Hoekstra. Be sure to take a note to remind yourself how to spell that name. H.O.E.K.S.T.R.A.

Voting for a liberal to defeat a liberal is what defines 'moronic'. Liberalism will no doubt move forward. It is idiocy to assume otherwise.

Panic and fear have made a lot of people forget that simple truth. But if Romney wins, especially if he wins in a landslide, they will remember it then with pain. And it will be too late because they will have succumbed to fear, having failed to remind themselves of an eternal truth: fear makes people do stupid things that they regret later.

I have no interest in trying to dissuade you from voting for Romney if he is the candidate you like best. We have each made our choice.

Perhaps you are willing to join me in praying that each of us shall have the wisdom, the strength and the faith to accept with gratitude God's will as He shall soon reveal it. Praise God.

Trust God.

And, may God bless you and yours.

Hello, dear Finny! Good to see you! Thanks for the ping.

Was SO GOOD to see Tom Hoefling’s name on my CA absentee ballot.
Felt incredibly good to cast my vote for him with confidence. Am sure you’ll feel just as good tomorrow!

Thank you again, dear EV! God bless you and your precious family for all the slings and arrows you endure for the sake of Principle.

“The prognosis seems grim no matter who wins. Even, say, if you won it, the forces of Statism and Control are juggernauts.”

Tom would only accelerate the process. Here on FR he has advocated using military force to block laws that he doesn’t personally agree with regardless of what the courts say.
