Romney – Obama Dead Heat in Wisconsin, 2% Undecided — Rasmussen

The latest from Rasmussen Reports in Wisconsin shows it is anybody’s race at this point:

Wisconsin which may prove to be the key to the entire presidential contest remains a tie less than a week before Election Day. The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Wisconsin Voters finds President Obama and Mitt Romney each earning 49% support. Two percent (2%) remain undecided. Wisconsin remains a Toss-Up in the Rasmussen Reports Electoral College Projections. Obama carried Wisconsin by a 56% to 42% margin in 2008.

The race in the Badger State was also tied last week after the president has led there in most surveys since October of last year. During that time, Obama has earned 44% to 52% of the vote, while Romney’s support has ranged from 41% to 49%.

Just like Scott Walker recall. Then we kicked the crap out of them. I read yesterday that the Romney’s internal polling for this state has them up by a point.

Romney has been gaining in WI, slowly but surely. This poll is a good sign.

Excellent news. If last minute undecideds break for Romney - as they usually do for the challenger during a horrific economy - Wisconsin can be had. Rasmussen had Gov Walker in a deadheat for his recall and he won by nearly 5 points.

I think Romney will win Ohio, but if he doesn’t he can still win by picking off Wisconsin and Iowa, which are very much winnable!

Rasmussen’s last Walker WI poll had Walker +5. Most polls had Walker +6-7. This election will be a lot closer in WI than the Walker recall.

I didn’t say it was going to be a blowout, just that I liked Romney’s chances better. The fact it is even this close after Obama’s large margin of victory in 2008 is an ominous sign. If Obama loses Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin or Nevada I think he’s all but done. And the reason is because I believe Romney will carry Flordia, NC, Virginia, Colorado, and Iowa.

The think that all those that voted for Scott Walker TWICE(recently) and those that voted for Paul Ryan would vote for Barry HAlF-White.. strains credulity..

You really much do a logic flip to think that.. -OR-
Are hampered by a HIVE mentality.. the collective has altered your thinking process..

Just like Scott Walker recall.

I'm sorry, but I don't know why people keep saying that the polls showed the Walker recall a tie race. The polls never showed a tied race. The media might have been spinning, but the RCP average was 6.7 and he won by 6.8. The polls were actually dead on.

Exactly. WHY do people keep posted that nonsense about the Walker re-election? NO POLLS HAD WALKER LOSING OR TOO CLOSE TO CALL the last few days before the election. NONE. ZIP. NADA!
The only time I heard “Too close to call” was during the day of election when dumbass media were talking exit polls. And as usual exit polling favors dems and means nothing.

But the polls leading UP to the election all had Walker leading INCLUDING Rasmussen.

I just had someone in the Zogby thread post to me that Carl Rove was on FNC saying that he saw Romney’s internals and it’s too close to call in SEVERAL states and Romney has lawyers ready to disperse for recounts.

Looks like another 2000 people...get ready!

OOOO sorry. I’m so stressed with this news.

THe states that are too close are probably: OH, WI, and IA.

I can’t imagine VA, and FL are too close.
