Hurricane Sandy: Don’t let the moment cloud your judgment…judge President Obama based on his record
Sentry Journal ^ | 11/03/12 | John Carey

When a terrible weather event like Hurricane Sandy happens it’s easy for many of us to get caught up in the moment because Americans are a very caring and giving people. We hate to see our fellow citizens suffering and want to do everything and anything possible to help. Politicians know this, and whenever the heartstrings of Americans are tugged they see an opportunity. They see an opportunity for them to be seen in a different light. An opportunity to come across as if they truly understand and care about our pains. It’s an opportunity to hide their record if they’re running from it in the moment of despair. They are masters at finding the camera, grabbing the photo op, making reassuring generic statements, and in the end manipulating the moment to their ends. And for the politicians skilled at doing this it usually works because we want to believe they care about us when an event like Hurricane Sandy occurs. The reality is the only thing they care about is winning our vote.

Obama is running from his record and is using Hurricane Sandy as cover for his pattern of failure. Don’t fall for it. We already know based on his own track record how he reacts to a crisis. Just look at the BP oil spill in the gulf, the national debt, the economy, and the Benghazi attack that led to the death of four Americans. Don’t let one moment of photo ops and looking Presidential cloud your judgment. The below video is a reminder of his record.

The President needs to be held accountable for the last four years. Don’t allow your feelings and emotions over Hurricane Sandy cloud your judgment. Don’t let President Obama use this terrible event to hide from his terrible record. Hold him accountable! If we can’t beat Obama knowing what we know about his record and failures then the America we so loved is already gone. Vote on 6 November to reclaim our nation. Vote for love of country.

Liberty forever, freedom for all!

Unfortunately, Obama already got a bump from this. Apparently even Dick Morris, the eternal optimist about GOP electoral chances, is worried about it now. Unfortunately, we did end up getting an act of God/nature this election cycle - sadly it was to Hussein’s benefit.

I don’t know, I think its backfiring on him. He ran in so quickly for his photo ops and took ownership of the cleanup and recovery, committing his time and efforts to make it all nice. Then flew off to campaign, leaving Staten Island without power, to recover the dead. People were kicked out of their hotels for marathon contestants, and by the time it was cancelled, the damage was done. Union thugs were chasing off the power crews. I predict that the chaos will rise, and discontent will be close to its pinnacle on election day, and Chauncey Gardner will refuse to leave the campaign trail in order to return to NY/NJ to keep his promises.

At least, that’s my opinion.

A lot of people suffering. Obama worse than Bush and “Brownie”. As bad as Nagan and Blanco.

Gee does this mean that I shouldn’t let the deaths of 4 men cloud my Judgement either?

Or the deaths of a thousand men in Afghanistan cloud my Judgement.

How about the 25 seal who died in a helicopter after they were set -up. Yeah that shouldn’t cloud my Judgement.

How about 6 Trillions of dollars tossed in the trash or 90 million flushed down the Green toilet.

How about the fact that after 4 years we still don’t know how this turnip brained turd got a Social Security card that belongs to someone else.

Im in NJ and was just listening to a press conference Christie held and he is STILL praising Obama for his “quick” and “dedicated” response and “assistance”. I dont know if I want to hurl or drive my car into a tree to end it all now.

I wish you were right, but at this moment in time the polls just don't show that. Even Dick Morris says he is seeing movement back to Obama and that our failure in chief is getting a bump. And Morris was predicting a Romney landslide, so it is pretty clear BHO is getting a noticeable uptick - most likely from the storm.

You keep saying what Dick Morris said on, what, Friday? You may want to take a look at what Dick Morris is saying today:

Obama Hit By Storm Backlash
By Dick Morris on November 3, 2012
Natural disasters usually follow the same political trajectory: First the incumbent experiences a bounce as he tours the impacted area, shows his concern, and pledges help to his beleaguered constituents. But then reality sets in and the shortages, delays, mishaps, deaths, and devastation becomes apparent and people turn against the incumbent. George W. Bush had his Katrina.
And now Barack Obama has his Sandy. Continue reading…

From his website, today.

Wonder what Ann Coulter thinks about her man Christy, now.
