Will Romney throw out first pitch at Tigers home game?

I was thinking that it would be great if Native Michigan son, Mitt Romney, threw out the first pitch at the first Tigers home game of the World Series. Considering that it's a swing state, his Dad was a popular Governor there, and it's very close to the election, this seems like a no brainer.

It would also send a message to the Obama campaign that "damn right we're contesting Michigan". It would also be best to do this at the first Tigers home game, since the crowd will be so revved up, regardless of what happens during the first two games in San Francisco.

Are there any Tigers fans out there who are aware of any plans to make this happen? I'd love to see what kind of reaction he'd get, and it would be on National TV!

Thinking of GWB throwing a strike in updated Yankee Stadium in 2001. and now we have the effete socialist.

Based on the responses I saw during the “Woodward Dream Cruise”, where people lining the streets shouted obscentities and flipped the bird at a passing Romney Campaign Bus, he would be boo’d at a downtown Tigers game. The Detroit area is still heavily entrenched in the Union Thug mentality.
