Dear RNC, Do You Want to Win?

As a Republican, I truly wonder if Romney's heart is in this. He's running a campaign that mirrors that of someone running for high school class president. Worse yet, he's trying to play nice with a fire-breathing dragon! Who is Romney kidding? Not me! I see no fight, and where there is no fight, there is no heart!

I do see a nice guy. Is that what you want to say at the end of a losing campaign, which is supposedly the last opportunity to save our republic? That he was nice? That we were nice? Sorry, but my family - and this country - cannot survive another four-years of the anti-American policies from this anti-American president! This election will not be won by playing nice with the dragon! Nice = Defeat.

RNC, if you care about this country, if you want the flame of the American dream to stay lit with the blessing of opportunity, then you better get your asses on the phone to YOUR nominee at the Romney camp and tell him to start fighting as if he actually gives a damn! Because right now, I'm not sure that either of you do!

By the way, why did Romney fight harder against Gingrich than he is currently fighting againgst Obama?

Do you really want to win?

Time to rinse Priebus right down the drain.

At this point how can anyone be certain that Romney is running a poor campaign? He is dead even with a sitting president 40 days out and three debates still to come.... Having never run a campaign myself, I really have no idea if he is ‘screwing’ up yet or not.

I agree. It seems like Romney ran harder and had a much tougher campaign in the primaries than he has since he was officially nominated. I keep waiting for him to open up with the “big guns”, but it looks like he may have dusted off the Bob Dole, Juan McLame campaign playbook.

I understand their conundrum.

On the one hand, they want the power and the patronage to distribute to their friends.

On the other hand, they are afraid that their constituency may demand that they change things and this threatens their cozy lifestyle in Washington.

What to do, what to do.

It is amazing. All of these people who have never run anything but their mouth are telling us that Romney is blowing it when we do not have an acurate metric to tell to us what is actually going on, except for on ground reporting which appears to be good.

That’s my point. The only thing that would cause me concern (and I admit that I have a hard time fighting it off) are skewed media polls. Everything else would suggest that Romney is likely to win, and this is even before the debates.

#1 The media is sequestering all Romney media to soundbites that can be spun as “gaffes”.

#2 The American people know that the media is in the tank for Obama 100%.

#3 You’re not going to see Romney “attack” Obama until the debates, even though the debate moderators are going to try to make every question about Romney’s “failures”.

#4 I suspect Romney is going to redirect every question about him to Obama’s record.

#5 I think a lot of people will be watching the debate, hoping to see Romney tear Obama a new one. I think he will.

Ann Barnhardt (barnhardt.biz) stated yesterday that she believes Romney is trying to throw the election, like McCain did. She cites as evidence Obama's behavior that the election is a fait accompli, a foregone conclusion, in which Obama "is not even trying."

True? I dunno. But it does look like Obama is not even trying hard. And the same for Mitt.

What you are witnessing is an ALL OUT ASSAULT by the mediaBASTARDS to demean, belittle and blackout the R&R ticket as much as they can. AND unfortunately it seems many folk have fallen for the evil mediaPIGS tricks! ALL THE MONEY in the world could not buy you what Obamster is getting from the media, hellywood, yes even the sport establishments. The odds are extremely high against R&R for a fair shake, BUT God willing we the people of the USA are fed up with these evil RAT extremists! This is our LAST and ONLY shot of retaining a FREE country....SOOOO, DON’T FREAKIN BLOW IT!! VOTE, and VOTE OFTEN....THIS IS WAR!! And I mean it!!

“By the way, why did Romney fight harder against Gingrich than he is currently fighting against Obama?”

I cannot disagree.Romney did what he had to do to win the primary including going negative when he had to. Perhaps someone should show Romney a photo of Obama wearing a Gingrich mask. Then Romney will charge like a bull with nostrils flailing at the red flag.

Romney knows the power elites, those that want the NWO, have a stranglehold on the future of the US and the US as we know it is slated to fail. I surmise that Romney doesn't want to be the president when that occurs. On the other hand, obozo is doing all he can to cause the US system to collapse thus opening the door for the NWO, so he has more motivation to play president than does Romney.

This.... This by the R/R campaign itself is very VERY disturbing. It's as if they WANT to disincentivize conservatives from voting for them.

Paul Ryan says reversal of DADT repeal is step in wrong direction

MIAMI -- One year after the repeal of the "don't ask, don't tell" policy that barred openly gay and lesbian service members from serving in the military, U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) said in an interview with WPTV NewsChannel 5 that the controversial policy should not be reinstated.

"Now that it's done, we should not reverse it," Ryan told WPTV NewsChannel 5 during a visit to Miami. "I think that would be a step in the wrong direction because people have already disclosed themselves."

The simple reality is that it’s easy to open up with “the big guns” when all your targets are.... white.

Any real attack on Obama will involve aiming at the man himself and the beliefs he holds, not on simply “his policies”.

And ANY attack of that sort will immediately be met with cries from the left and the media as “racis’”.

The Republicans are deathly afraid of such accusations, for they don’t have the intestinal fortitude to fight back. Worse, they don’t know HOW to fight back. The very first thing out of their mouths will be “we aren’t racist” — and by saying as much, they will have lost the battle...

Arcy, don't go weak in the knees. A campaign is a marathon, not a sprint. Team Romney has a solid ground game and are sticking to their plan: hang this economy around Obama's neck. If you need some red meat, listen to a few Romney stump speeches. He excoriates our Dear Leader.

Stay focused and on message my FRiend, don't get discouraged and remember, we're in this for the long haul. Don't let the MSM and their agenda get you down.

The MSM is doing everything in their power to re-elect Zer0. They don’t even attempt to project objective reporting. Totally blatant.

IMO Romney’s best chance to to buy time, if the alphabet broadcasters will sell, and go on national TV and state his case.

I think you are correct about Romney being scared of being labeled “racist”, but Juan McLame was the same way it cost him the election, so Romney MUST attack. He has access to a number of outstanding resources, including Allen West, whom he should be able to sit down with and develop a good strategy.
