Democrats, labor and progressives are hoping to win back several Republican held seats in Illinois and the 8th Congressional District [CD] is one of them currently held by Republican Joe Walsh. His opponent is Democratic candidate Tammy Duckworth. The race presents stark choices for voters.
In a legitimate comparable tone – Ms. Duckworth can best be described as a controversial ultra-liberal, tax and spend, Progressive heavily funded by out-of-state special interests and the Chicago machine. Congressman Walsh has been described as a ‘controversial Tea Party-backed freshman’ who has been particularly vocal in urging Congress to reduce spending and cut taxes.
For the voters in the IL-8th, this is not a Coke vs. Pepsi decision.
There are clear ties between the Democratic Party’s Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC), the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). The DSA of America of Rockford, Ill. financially supported Barack Obama to run for Illinois State Senate. And in 2006, Ms. Duckworth garnered support from the Communist Party USA and far-left communist Frank Lumpkin who, according to Marxist news site Peoples World, led a labor walk for her as a candidate for the IL 6th CD.
It would be no surprise then that her admirer would be Rep. Jan Schakowsky, the most Progressive member in Congress, who stated in this video, ‘Americans don’t deserve to keep all their money,’ asserting the IRS should have the right to seize up to 49% of your earned income in taxes. In 2006, her lobbyist husband, was convicted of bank fraud and tax evasion and served time in prison.

Ms. Duckworth is also tied at the hip with the Muslim advocacy group CAIR. CAIR is a Muslim Brotherhood group. They were named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorist funding trial in our nation’s history. And notably, the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI have severed all ties with CAIR because of their radical ties to terrorism and Hamas.
I read the title as “Duckworth’s Radial Tires” - I have to get to bed, it’s really late.
