Political Correctness Run Amok
This is an issue that constantly comes up in conversation lately, particularly when people express their puzzlement that Obamas likeability polls so high coming into the election. How can his policies be so bad, yet people still seem to like him so much?, I constantly hear.
Well, the question they should be asking is how such an incompetent perpetual-campaigner and golf-pro-wannabe ever got elected to that office in the first place. And as far as Im concerned, the answer is very simple: because hes black. Or half-black, to be exact.
Lets face it. If a white guy named Barry OMalley had put his hat in the ring with a resume that included zero private-sector experience, zero state-level executive experience, and only two years of experience in federal office, hed have been laughed out of the primary. Yet thats exactly what Barry Obama did, and he got away with it.
His entire 2008 campaign consisted of shameless sloganeering devoid of actual policy proposals: he was the not Bush guy; Hope and Change; Yes, we can! and Si, se puedes!; Transform America; and pretty much nothing else.
How did such abysmal vapidity succeed in propelling this empty suit to the White House, you ask? Because for far, far too many voters this was the opportunity to show how enlightened wed become. Were actually going to elect a Black Man as President! Arent we just oh so sophisticated and open-minded! What a great country!
And why do the polls even now show Obama having such high personal popularity? In my estimation based on human nature, for the exact same reason. When polled, many people are hesitant at the least to express a negative view of the amateur in the White House for fear of being thought of as racist.
And they may well have good cause. In an administration that was supposed to put racism to rest, weve reached the point at which any criticism of Obamas policies is automatically RAAAACIST!!! Far from removing racism as an issue, its been amplified beyond all sanity.
Of course, the reason for this is because Obamas policies have been so disastrous for the country that he cant possibly run on his record and hope for re-election, so he and his supporters have to stifle any policy criticisms at any and all costs.
Lets hope they dont get away with it this time. Lets send this nimrod back to the driving range, where he belongs.
And only from the waist up.
2016 goes into this.
Obama is a ‘bargaining’ black leader: Prove you aren’t a racist by voting for me.
Basically, he’s an Affirmative Action President elected for what he symbolizes more than any actual qualifications or competence.
But we can ill afford to give four years much less eight to an unqualified anti-American would-be leader.
Obama’s Presidency is a failed experiment. He’s set back the possibility of a qualified “person of color” from becoming President for two decades...at least.
Seriously? Is this author legit????? If so, I can only say:
Uh— hey, there BrianR — or should I say, Sha-Zam?!?! Like, totally dude, chow down the cornflakes. You’re only 3-1/2 yrs behind the times.
OMG I’m blind. I didn’t realize he was black. I hated him because he is a marxist. (By the way. What is black?)
Yep! White guilt and misguided black solidarity.
And the right kind of black, we might add.
Not too dark, not too threatening, speaking standard English,
wearing his hair short, and the crotch of the pants above the knees.
“Townhall” listed as a source? I think not—this is just a blog instead!
There is absolutely no question that the only reason he got elected was because he is black.
A white (or asian) guy with the same credentials wouldn’t have made it out of Iowa.
But... he’s not Black black.
Almost sounds like Biden’s description of Obumbler!
“A white (or asian) guy with the same credentials wouldnt have made it out of Iowa.”
A white Republican with the same credentials would not have been shown one percent of the respect afforded to this amazingly unqualified Democrat candidate for the senate seat held by Jim Demint.
