I consider multiple nuclear power plants a big plus.
What does this tree hugging idiot have against nuclear power. Also, the crime rate for the state of NJ is quite low compared to North and South Carolina overall.
Why are multiple nuclear power plants listed as a Con? I see them as a plus.
What a bunch of baloney.
Cons: traffic; violent home invasions by gangs of illegal aliens & recent immigrants whom the authorities; a love of illegal aliens in northern part of the state; a tax department that double taxes in select cases - possibly the only one in the country.
I would rate Indiana higher - although it is a long time ago since I was there and it might have changed. Then there were very few illegal aliens, prices of beautiful homes were more than reasonable, Indianapolis had a terrific children’s museum, and traffic wasn’t bad even during rush hours.
South Carolina
Cons: hurricanes, not enough jobs, multiple nuclear power plants, crime, gang violence, rampant poverty
not enough jobs - Tell me about it!
multiple nuclear power plants - Um, how is that a con? That’s where a lot of the jobs are. Safest places to work actually.
crime - That applies everywhere.
gang violence - What gang violence?
rampant poverty - Welcome to the Deep South.
“Cons: ... Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh ...”
Did he mean “Cons” ... Philadelphia, Pittsburgh ...” ???
If Obama wins the November election my question will be
“Where is the best place to live outside of America?”
Plus USC Trojan football, burritos from Chano's in LA, the Reagan and Nixon Presidential Libraries, the Rose Parade, fine wine
He missed a couple of New Hampshire cons: astronomical property taxes, and the fact that if you want to go anywhere at a speed higher than 40 miles per hour; you are probably going to pay a toll. As for crime? Getting worse with influx of citiots from New York.
Only one A — the author must be an Idaho potato farmer.
He also missed a major Tennessee ‘pro’: East Tennessee.
Pros: Scenic Route 6, maple syrup, Ruthie's diner in Ligonier
Cons: "blue state" politics, floods, lousy highway signage
Pros: the eastern half of the state is quite nice and much different from the coast
Cons: way too much rain along the coast, volcanoes, wildfires, insane politicians, ridiculous regulations, political correctness, not enough jobs, possible tsunami threat along the coast, Seattle
Also on the 'con' side: far too many illegal immigrants, earthquakes (Cascadia Subduction Zone), and (at least on the west side) some of the worst traffic in the nation.
On the pro side, North-eastern Washington (north of Spokane) is quite a bit like northern Idaho. Eastern Washington is quite nicely conservative and votes as such in most elections.
It's too bad that just 7 counties in Western Washington negates ANY conservatism that may be voted on in the rest of the state.
He did get a couple of things right. Idaho is beautiful and California sucks. I would rate Utah an “A”, Salt Lake City is definitly not a “con” and it is not too cold in winter. We lived there 8 years and it never got below 20.
Pros: the Washington Redskins play there
What doofus considers this a PRO?
Pros
a friendly and welcoming attitude, barbecue, western swing
Cons
tornados, hot summers, Elizabeth Warren
I think California was the only F. I’m insulted. I think I’ll go down to Hollywood today to grade it myself.
Texas: It’s truly awful. Don’t even think about it. The remaining 56 sates grade out well ahead of Texas.
