Don’t get me wrong – I’m not advocating for a wild-west scenario. I don’t want to put guns in the hands of just any idiot – there has to be at least a minimum knowledge and respect of firearms through education. But I do think that anyone who has taken, say, an NRA-approved course on how to use and respect firearms should be issued a CC permit. That is, after they have been taught how to shoot, when to shoot, when NOT to shoot, etc.

CC permits should not be necessary. Anyone should be able to purchase any weapon they can afford and keep it on their person.
