Leftist Argentine Government Builds "military battalion" Using Convicted Murders Released Early
Surviving in Argentina ^

Oh yes, that’s exactly what´s going on. Eduardo Vásquez murdered his wife by burning her alive, Rubén “Oveja” Pintos is a well-known assassin involved in Argentina’s hooligan underworld (Barra Brava), convicted of murdering and enemy within his own barra brava organization.

What do both of them have in common? Besides being recent 2011 convicted murders, they can just walk out of prison as if nothing as long as they support the K regime, show up in their rallies, parties and militate in the K organization by joining the “Vatayon Militante” organization. “Vatayon Militante” (VM) translates to a misspelled “Military battalion”, purposefully misspelled using V instead of B and Y instead of LL so as to appeal to the lower cultural segments of society through the grammatical error. VM was created by the Kirchner Youth, called “La Campora”, in an attempt to recruit muscle and crash force within the prison system to be used against everyone and anyone that opposes the K ruling.

Argentina has now closed its ports to all UK ships too. And the UK hasn’t responded yet (perhaps due to all international eyes being on the London Olympics?)

I think this Argentine regime is tooling up for another war with Britain...as a way to bring totalitarian rule into force. Even though they’d surely lose in an outright military confrontation—who knows, the wimpy Brits may end up caving (the Argentines think) and even if they don’t, a war would galvanize the Argentine people and easily allow for the Marxists to take full power....

To a leftist dictatorship it’s win-win situation—and if a few hundred of their own “eggs” (people) get killed in the process, so what?

Ferfal’s blog is excellent. Study it, because it is likely where we are headed.

I don’t see a total SHTF moment in the USA, or a massive collapse. Assuming the continued track we are on, the USA will likely evolve into something very closely resembling Argentina

My first reaction was this is the Dirty Dozen, Spanish Version.

Then after reading the article and finding out how easy it is for these ‘illegals’ to simply vouch for themselves to get out of prison, I thought about Obama’s new policy for ‘DReamers” as the ICE calls them.

Tell me again why Argentina went from one of the wealthiest countries in 1900 to the basket case it is today.

“Even though they’d surely lose in an outright military confrontation—”

You sure? This isn’t 1981 anymore.
The Fleet Air arm is all helicopter now, period. No Sea Harriers,,, none. The RAF Harriers are gone too, no embarking them on the one helo flatop left. The surface warfare fleet is 6 destroyers and 13 frigates. Thats it.
The 6 Subs the British have could be very nasty.

They have no Air Force beyond Tornados and Typhoons. There is simply no ability for the RAF to project power beyond the reach of a tactical fighter.

England has 200 tanks, and no realistic way to transport them. The actually have more generals than they have tanks!

But the British simply no longer have any ability to project power. And in the role of the defender, the Argies have a wonderful position against a weak opponent.

Englands only hope is their classic plan. To drag the USA into it.

you don’t need a carrier battle force to project power anymore, all the Brits need to do is put one of their subs offshore loaded with tomahawk missiles. One good volley and most of Argentina’s Navy is at the bottom of sea and their air force and army bases are smoking ruins. The new UK sub can hold 38 tomahawks and the older class around 30. Good luck swimming to the Falkland Islands.

The Argies have very high quality German subs that can stay submerged for a month.
Finding them in coastal waters is unbelievably difficult.
They are extremely quiet, and a true danger to British nuke subs and the one destroyer they maintain in the area.

And the fact remains, the Brits can play defense against amphibious landings, and little else.
Subs can do nothing against a surprise Airborne attack that wipes out the FOUR fighters, and the company sized garrison based on the islands.

Once a mere four fighters were dealt with, in one sneak attack, or in one well executed act of sabotage, it’s over. The argies can land all the troops they wish by air.
And that* is where carriers come in. England has absolutely no way to contest control of the air as they did in 81. There is no friendly airfield in South America that I’m aware of. Any approaching RN ships are at the mercy of exocet firing jets, and silent electric subs.

All the English can do is create about 150 explosions against a low tech enemy the size of California. After that, they are done.

Your sub attack scenario is flawed. The Brits will not START the war. So the Argie jets will be dispersed at the beginning. The Argie navy need not even sortie except for the subs,,,which left weeks before.
The Brits simply cannot put an aircraft over Argentina, or the Falklands except for four. These Brit jets can disperse to exactly two airfields.

So the war goes like this. If the argies can find ANY way to launch a surprise attack and wipe out those four jets. (sub launched missiles, commandos, treachery, two jets zooming in low at dawn with a load of cluster bombs). All the Brits could do is blockaide the sea approaches and stamp their feet. But there is no Brit fleet to come to the rescue as in 81. Without aircover, they are dead.

Yes, carriers are essential to power projection if you intend to make a landing. And even though they have one flat top left for helos, the Harriers and their pilots are long gone.
The Brits are down to nothing for a military. It’s a fact.

Besides, the British sub force is in utter disarray. If they aren’t running aground in their home water, they are having crew go berserk and shoot up the officers. If thats ok, then it’s giving the Russians a list of every serial number and type of every nuke aboard.

And can anyone the RN of 1981 letting Iranians in a motorboat capture a RN boarding party within SIGHT of the mothership?
