History Repeating Itself: The Vendee Genocide
Barnhardt ^ | July 18, AD 2012 10:20 AM MST | Ann Barnhardt

Here's my latest video recorded by the good folks at FreedomTalkNetcast.com down in Pueblo, Colorado.

This presentation covers the almost unknown war and genocide against the people of the Vendee region of France during the proto-Marxist French Revolution. This genocide by the atheist, godless, totalitarian French Revolutionaries against the Church killed 450,000 people, and has served as a the tactical template for Marxist governments who have fomented statist schisms and then entered into open war against the Church over the last century, including the Soviets and Mexicans in the early 20th century, and the Red Chinese and Vietnamese, and Marxist Latin American regimes.

The Marxist Obama regime is following that same template to a terrifying, yet in no way surprising, degree.

The only question is, how will it end here? What is beyond question is the fact that we are now, in the United States, on the path to genocide.

In four parts, total time approximately one hour twenty minutes. Feel free to mirror, as always.

A bloody, reprehensible episode in French History that the French, especially the Socialists under François Hollande would rather keep hidden.

There's still a serious shortage of Evangelical churches, and Evangelical church members in the Vendee to this very day.

The last government had some programs in place to begin rectifying that ~ encouraging Protestant return to France, and internal relocations of Protestants to this area.

Did somebody do some research into who was getting killed in the Vendee before they wrote this up?

You're confusing the French War of Religion in the 16th century with the genocide of Catholics by the French Revolutionaries in 1793.

By the 1790s the Vendée was heavily Catholic.

The Vandee is a complex situation involving several mass killings ~ even during the French Revolution. But peasants were, in general, neither nobles nor Protestants in that part of France.

As I recall Carrier was drowning peasants so they would no longer try to support local nobles.

The “Republican marriages” of the drownings of Nantes, you’re correct.

Unfortunately, the Vendee, Chouannerie, and the existence of counterrevolutionaries in France is papered over in popular culture. Public schools anymore are lucky if they mention the Reign of Terror in any detail.

To the typical person, Les Miserables embodies the French Revolution, despite the fact that its set decades after in the July Monarchy.

Pappillion is elemental French society before they learned how to farm.

Helps me keep straight what their motives are ~

Yes, a dreadful episode of French history.

The Vendée after the bloodbath of the suppressed uprising against the Jacobin thugs looked just like the Palatinate in 1690.

May G_d rest the victims’ hallowed souls.
Amen.
