As surprisingly easy as this is, do you think it will happen?

Step one: get a Republican with a spine...uh, OK, maybe we can work around step one for now.

Even a Republican with half a brain would do here.

Mitt might be able to figure it out, but he’s kind of slow on the uptake. All Mitt really needs to do is explain that this taxatious beast is NOT the Christmas in July that Obama is pushing it as. It’s a tax coerced sale of an inferior product at inflated prices that works a world of hurt on what would otherwise have been the best medical system in the world. On the other hand that would embarrass Mitt about his other brain(less)child, Romneycare.

We would need 51 Republicans with a spine.

What are the chances of that with McCain, Grahamnesty, Collins et al in the Senate.

It’s going to be much tougher to dump the legal precedent which basically legalized slavery. I agree that taking down Obamacare is a start.

A lot of damage beyond Obamacare was done here.

” - - - When is the last time, after all, government had to shrink?”

Government may shrink, but Obama”care” will expand.

The reason is simple: Obama”care” is the Death Knell for the finances of the US Treasury.

Obama is dedicated to destroying America, and like every Bolshevik, he starts by bashing the Banks.

Bolsheviks Dodd and Franks helped out with their Bill/Law/Bill, (it is still being written), but the main destroyer will be Obama”care.”

In 2010 the TEA Party vote was an unexpected shock and awe.
TEA party people laugh at pollsters and, like in Wisconsin, delight in making them look foolish.

We will have the presidency and super majorities in both houses of congress—but unless we replace the spineless RINO GOP-e leadership with men and women of true American vision—our own will force us into armed rebellion against tyranny demanded of us as a duty in our Declaration of Independence.

A lot of people I talk to seem to think that Mitch McConnells’ “too hard to unwind” statement was a trial balloon to see whether RINOs might be able to wriggle off the hook.

If so it got blown clear out of the sky. The GOP either repeals this thing or they become the Whig party.

If I remember correctly, didn’t they all vote against the health care bill when it came up for a vote? I thought that only one Repub in the House voted for this monstrosity.

I still hung out my flag yesterday. I’ve now adopted the view that I take pride in the country that was. This country I don’t know. It’s still running, but only on the fumes of the past.

Get used to it.

Then we need to work hard to replace the RINOs, or some of the Democrats in the Senate, with Republicans who WILL vote to repeal it, or work to encourage the RINOs, and a couple of Democrats to vote WITH us, after Obama has been defeated.

Olympia Snowe has already announced that she's retiring. Maybe Maine will get some sense and elect someone who is more conservative than she. She always seemed to be a vote for the Democrats when we needed all Republicans on deck.

Get used to it.

You go right ahead and be a pessimist, and be comfortable with that.

I choose to be positive, and encourage others to JOIN me in doing something about the situation.

Doing something?

Like what?

Voting for Mitt Romney?
The guy touts his “reaching across the aisle” and “working with Democrats” while he was Governor as the reason he should be president.

Should we support Boehner and McConnell? Two men who haven’t stopped anything Obama’s wanted? They surrendered the budget fight and the debt ceiling.

Yeah - these people are talking tough, they always do.

And at the end of the day they roll over and play dead.

So what are you going to do? March? Protest?
The Ruling Class doesn’t care.

Refuse to pay your taxes?
They’ll drag you jail.

The American Left has everything it wants - it doesn’t need the all important moderates anymore.

Seriously though: If you have a good idea, I’d be willing to entertain it.

There is no 'news' here, the 'how' has been discussed and dissected ad nauseam with the key component getting enough will votes in the Senate to repeal and a Republican president.

However, your nothing summer sure does try to get people to your site.

Lose the crappy attitude! NO ONE will be persuaded to vote against Obama if you act THAT way.

But don't despair, I can tell by your posts that even when Romney is elected, you'll have plenty to bitch about.
