Like Speaker John Boehner on another Sunday show, he indicated that the GOP clearly had no alternative "replace" plan of its own beyond what Boehner called a "common-sense, step by step approach."

Hey stupid maybe you ought to let the Former Speaker Newt explain the answer to you

"I don't think the American people want to have this debate again," Lew said on Fox News Sunday, reflecting the "let's move on" approach reported by National Journal's Major Garrett, among others.

That was the theme on ABC Radio News yesterday.

They're frothing at the mouth over something which won't affect most people. Near everyone has some form of healthcare insurance, which will be tweaked a little to match the new law.

Really? Those undecideds who will now be required to purchase insurance under threat of IRS attack won't care about this? You really believe that?

Adding 30 million people to a broken Medicaid is a "minor tweak"? That adding pre-existing coverage to "insurance" is a minor tweak? Total government regulation of all components of health insurance plans is a minor tweak?

You are correct that most will not pay the penalty tax for now. You are totally wrong to think this won't massively increase the cost and lower the quality of health care. That is were everyone takes the hit and they need the facts now.

I’ve been wondering what the basis for these “waivers” was.
Didn’t dig into it, but expect the answer is “none”.

You gotta admit, when the Democrat mob does corruption, they don’t mess around....

'scuze me if, in a brief two-paragraph blog post, I don't fully address a 2,700-page document delineating changes to 18,000-pages of existing law.

Really? Those undecideds who will now be required to purchase insurance under threat of IRS attack won't care about this? You really believe that?

If you'd read what I wrote, instead of reacting to keywords, you'd see:
Yes. Most of those undecideds ALREADY have compliant health insurance. They won't be fined. It's an item which will be veiled behind a "do you have compliant health insurance?" question in TurboTax. They won't care.

Adding 30 million people to a broken Medicaid is a "minor tweak"?

Focus on the topic here. The issue is the ELECTION. Those 30 million people will LIKE being added, and will vote for the one who made it happen. And they will NOT vote for the guy shouting "I'm gonna take it away from you!"

Total government regulation of all components of health insurance plans is a minor tweak?

Until after the election, there will be little change to plans. Few, if any, will suffer a "aw crap BHO sucks" moment. Until stuff really starts going into effect next year, nobody will see substantial negative changes.

You are totally wrong to think this won't massively increase the cost and lower the quality of health care.

I don't think that. You missed my disclaimer. Sure it will massively increase the cost and lower the quality of health care - AFTER the election. The issue will NOT be persuasive to the undecideds - if they're still undecided at this point, yelling "OMGWTFBBQ" at them won't help.

My point, which you grossly missed, is:
Focusing on ObamaCare and taking the spotlight off the economy will win the Obama the election.

The GOP isn't doing that. They are tying kenyancare and the economy together. I have heard "Jobs killing bill" a million times in the last week.

Why do you think all these healthy people branded "free riders" are going to stampede for odumbo? They will not be happy being forced into buying insurance instead of an ipad or whatever else was on the menu.

Highlighting a few facts out of those 20,000 pages and informing voters is not focusing on health care. Asking the dims to explain how hiring 16,000 IRS agents improves the quality of health care is a good thing. The dims just want to talk about the "free" goodies. We can't let them get away with that.
