Also the headquarters of the Priory of Sion, the Knights of Malta and associated with the P2 Lodge, but that’s just me being a conspiracy theorist.
Jenkins has an excellent article on the WSJ editorial page about Obamacare and how to turn these lemons into lemonade, or rather, turn it into a Pyrrhic Victory for Obama.
Jenkins suggets that rather than repeal the mandate, that we embrace the mandate and toss the rest of the bill. Limit the mandate to a requirement that everyone carry some type of health insurance which would meet minimal requirements and let the market do the rest by removing all restrictions and mandates for specific coverage.
Jenkins said that if we did this, the insurance companies would become innovative and offer all types of policies with all levels of coverage. Companies would steer the younger, healthy employees to the less expensive, high deductible policies, combined with a health savings account.
I like the idea because as Jenkins suggests, this is a real fix for health care problems that would lower costs and do exactly what Obama’s mega-bill doesn’t begin to do.
