Unfortunately tests are racist...
I am not trying to be inflammatory, but are you suggesting that women’s suffrage is a bad thing?
I’m a woman, and I rather enjoy my right to vote. I’m also very conservative and opposed to abortion and the flagrant inappropriate use of the word ‘vagina.’
Women’s suffrage brought us women like Sarah Palin, too.
I’m curious as to what your intended point is here, and I enjoy polite discussions about these kind of things.
The dialog exchange:
Frank: Nice beaver!
Jane: [producing a stuffed beaver] Thank you. I just had it stuffed.
I did. I don’t think we need that. We can discuss the issue without it.
LOL!!!!!!!
‘Make me a sammich, woman!!’
Oh, you have vaginas running your state, too?
Attempting to turn West Point over to the Brits may have had something to do with that.
Oh, you have vaginas ruining your state, too?
fixed it.
And make it a footlong.
I think my post 27 answers your question.
I apologize; I had not read 27 yet when I replied.
I misread the headline, I thought it said: “Vaginas Demand a Lansing”.
Sand. Lots and lots of sand.
He saw what you did in your post, too!!!
GENERALLY women voters can be swayed by emotions, particularly fear mongering.
Democrats have mastered fear mongering and racism (Outlaw killer weed because it might cause a black man to look at a white woman).
So TO THE DEGREE THAT woman can be manipulated into voting against the long term survival of the country, yes, Suffrage was bad.
This is NOT to say that many, if not most women are good and reasoned voters, nor is it to say that all men are wonderful voters.
Unfortunately for every Sarah Palin, there are a dozen Maxine Waters, and for every Reagan a dozen Kennedys.
What we really need is a way to detect sociopaths and remove them from the levers of power, and a test for rationality for voters.
Of course, somebody somewhere would claim that’s racist.
Some man should have told her that he would not touch her vagina with a ten foot pole.
Lettuce be real...another double standard with many women in general(not you).. Women get upset with the word c**t but women have no problem calling men a d**k, the c word equivalent...and hey,not a single f**k is given. Another version of if a man get's his privates cut off it's national joke but if it happens to a woman it's a tragedy..
Have seen it on this site...
I was down in Wiliamsburg a couple of weeks ago, and got to see Benedict Arnold close up as he dressed down the arrogant and stubborn Colonials:
It was great! He was shouting at us and I could see spittle coming from his lips, his face was turning red, an his horse was slavering as though it had run a long distance without rest (Don't know what THAT was about)
The only thing missing was the whiz of a musketball that slapped him in his chest...:)
Yes, Arnold tried to do that for interesting reasons.
If you should visit West Point, visit their museum. There's a small corner dedicated to the decisive battle at Lexington and Arnold's action in that battle.
The American General in charge was typical British, sitting on a hilltop overlookng the battle field ... watching over Arnold who was under orders to stay on that hilltop. Arnold, however, on his horse, was witnessing the rout of American forces down below; so he jumped his horse over a fence and rode in to lead American men in a charge on the British headquarters -- he was a fighting leader, the men knew that and loved him for it, and they won that battle in a bloody way ... Arnold's blood included ... Arnold refused to have his leg amputated and limped forever after ... while continuously being screwed over financially by American politicians ... the lousy types. So he changed sides.
You'll find Arnold's story in Kenneth Roberts books: "Arundel" and "Rabble in Arms."
