I don’t know about that. The Romans had to face battle with swords and spears, engineer and build bridges, and fight off vicious animals. Any queer can sit behind a desk, push a button, or sweep floors, which entails a vast majority of military jobs these days.
And the suicide rate among homos is also very high. Shouldn’t help the Army’s stats.
