"All officers of government in this country, in every branch, at every level, have as the first obligation of their sacred oath the protection of all innocent lives within their jurisdiction.
Should I be elected to the office of President of the United States, I will keep my oath.
Justice Blackmun, in Roe vs. Wade, admitted that of course the child in the womb is protected by the Fourteenth Amendment, if they are a person.
Since it is self-evident that they are a person, my first act as President, after having sworn the oath, will be to publish a presidential finding to that effect.
My second act will be to ask for the resignation of anyone in the executive branch who will not act accordingly.
My third act will be to order the closing of every abortion facility in the country, as per the explicit, imperative requirement of the Supreme Law of the Land.
'No person shall be deprived of life without due process of law.'
'No State shall deprive any person of life without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.'
-- Tom Hoefling
Sounds great, but he has just as much chance of being elected as I do.
It’s abundantly clear than any candidate who has to resort to pimping his own material on FR has absolutely zero chance of doing anything other than disrupting!
Disrupting what? The election of a pro-choice democrat?
That is because the Republican Party is a bunch of idiots. We should ALL be behind this guy but No, the Republican party loves liberal Romney as many here do too. I was going to vote for Virgil Goode, but this guy sounds even better so I am giving my vote to Tom Hoefling....to bad more won't vote for this man of character. I don't blame him for losing the election, I blame the STUPID voters for not voting a guy like this into the Presidency.
To: EternalVigilanceI'm pretty sure he is "he". EternalVigilance is Tom Hoefling.Sounds great, but he has just as much chance of being elected as I do.
Am I wrong?
Bravo!
The only way to stop abortions is to stop abortions!
At least folks will be given a choice, with no legitimate excuses.
Oh Lord. You Romney lovers kill me....Knock it off your liberalism and pushing Romney on the rest of us. I know you support the idiot 100 percent but I and some others don’t. We are right....You are 100 percent WRONG in your support of your liberal candidate. The poster is doing something exceptionally correct and your little snottiness about poor little Romney who is not half the man this guy is makes you sad....grow up and vote conservative for once in your life.
It’s clear. I agree totally with the goal. I disagree with the method. We have had enough “presidential findings” to last the rest of the life of the Republic. (May she regain her footing and live forever.)
Now, if Tom can describe a means of doing this within the confines of the Constitution, let’s hear it. Maybe start with a warning to abortionists and their enablers, “Abortion-on-demand will be eliminated. Between now and then, don’t do anything that will put you in prison for the rest of your life.”
Can't make it any clearer than that.
That is the OP.
He is self-promoting.
i don’t think anyone here loves romney.
any enthusiasm you observe is anti-0bama enthusiasm pushing a candidate that can remove him.
sorry, but this guy can’t.
The Republican party isn’t conservative because conservatives sit at home and bitch instead of joining the Republican party and doing something about it.
The time for voting for alternates is the primaries. A vote for anyone but the GOP candidate is a vote for Obama.
pure and simple.
Is that true?
"Welcome to "How gullible are you FR?"
The only chance of a bill like ever passing Congress is zero. Unless he plans on issue an executive order which will get overturned by Congress.
Yes
Sadly, many pro-lifers will waste their vote on him to "take a stand".
Welcome aboard!
This is how a movement begins.
Try to be gentle with the Romney fans. They admit that they’re ashamed of what they say, but that they’re terrified to think about what life might be like without a President Romney. It’s pitiful, really.
Yes, I am Tom Hoefling.
Ross Perot. I made that mistake, once.
well, at least they’ll have voted for someone pure.
so what if we end up w/ obama again?
Sorry, not yet ready for prime time.
Crystal clear. FR’s ultimate pro-life candidate draws a line in the sand. Thank you.
Tom Hoefling is not Ross Perot. Tom is a real conservative. He does not waffle or waver.
Tom provides you with an opportunity to vote with fearless pride for a candidate who will stand up for you. You won’t get many other chances in life to do that.
Yes I knew that, but since he wasn’t upfront enough to tell people that I wasn’t going to acknowledge it.
The time for voting for alternates is the primaries. A vote for anyone but the GOP candidate is a vote for Obama.
pure and simple.
You liberals are a broken record. Start supporting a conservative for a change. You are constantly voting for RINOs and that is the way you like it. You fool nobody.
But the two pro-choice democrats who are running in the Democrat and the Republican parties are?
He couldn’t do it if he wanted to, and he will never be elected to have the chance. Other than that, it is exactly what I want to hear.
I’m tired of arguing with you Tom.
You are doing nothing but assisting the Obama campaign but I KNOW that you cannot see that.
“At least folks will be given a choice, with no legitimate excuses.”
A choice for what? I can choose to spit in the ocean but it doesn’t accomplish anything.
See this?
My daughters are in Crusaders for Life, Detroit. That's the Bishop Michael Byrnes IN the boat being carried by the boys. We are as Pro-Life as you get. Thankfully, the parents are informed and intelligent. We will not waste a vote to take a stand. We already do "take a stand" and at this point we need to vote for anyone who can get Obama out.
A choice for the reestablishment of the plumb line of moral, constitutional, republican self-government in this country.
Before it is too late.
The explicit requirement of the Fourteenth Amendment is that the unborn be given due process of law before they can be killed, not that they must never be killed under any circumstances.
Abortion is a travesty, but people should not rush to the even greater travesty of a police state in order to put an end to it.
Ross Perot was conservative too.
Tom’s a really great guy who has a snowballs chance in h3ll of making it to President.
I love my kids too much to vote third party. Been there, done that.
See this?
Any Google search will come up with this picture or something close to it. I hope you are NOT pro-life if you are going to vote for a guy who was Pro-Choice as early as 2004. Get real and voting for a conservative is never a waste. You need to get out of your constant cheerleading for Romney. It is getting nauseating.
Well I was voted Capt of street patrol in the 3rd grade. That has to count for something.
Sometimes voting is a test of character, it is always an expression of character. Pay no attention to what others may do. Defy the crowds. Your vote is your vote and many good people have given their lives so that you could have that right.
You are important. You are ready for prime time. Let the world know how you feel with your vote.
Live and vote with pride!
And, trust God!
Finally. A ‘candidate’ who can take Blog Pimping to new heights..
Never happen. While the majority of people are against abortion, face it, the vast majority of the electorate, even among conservatives, don't give a hoot about abortion in the election cycle except when things are going good and there are no other more pressing issues. ..it's jobs, jobs, and more jobs this election with smaller gov't coming in second.
Those folks will accomplish much more to stop abortion than this thread will.
"In the recent debate over increasing the debt ceiling, the Democrats offered a plan to have a hungry eight hundred pound grizzly bear with fleas live in your house. The Republicans offered the bear, minus a few of the fleas. Now they want you to vote for them again because of their wonderful anti-flea credentials. But if you ask them about the bear in the living room, they call you a purist and an extremist."
Exactly.
Those folks will accomplish much more to stop abortion than this thread will.
I’m curious, what kind of campaign are you running? That is, are you a nominee of a particular party or are you running a write-in campaign?
If you are a party’s nominee, are you already on the ballot in all 50 states (or close to it)?
Constitutional? Your thread shows you haven’t a clue about Constitutional process or powers.
The opinion of one lone Justice can’t be used to make a decision using the authority of the USSC.
Its already too late for about 50 million babies and counting.
We might want to start a new political party.
