SWATting the Ericksons (Brett Kimberlin fallout?)

Last week we spent a lot of time writing about Brett Kimberlin and the incident involving blogger Patterico where someone spoofed his phone number and told 911 he had shot his wife.

Tonight, my family was sitting around the kitchen table eating dinner when sheriffs deputies pulled up in the driveway.

Someone called 911 from my address claiming there had been an accidental shooting.

"One of the blogs I read compared the voice of one of Kimberlin's close associates with the voice on the 911 tape that resulted in the SWAT team arriving at blogger Patterico's house. To the lay person it sounds like the same voice, but I wonder if any real analysis has been done. " I think it was Patrick Frey, when he could get law enforcement to do a voice analysis, he got his own expert that said it was the same voice. Link (look for The Voice)
