Other elements of research in this “Thesis” are laughably inept and it ought to have been sent back for a serious re-work.
How about this boner: Adams amateurishly and wrongly identifies the lyrics “new boss, same as the old boss” as from “Teenage Wasteland” and worse, it he attributes it to the Rolling Stones.
Three minutes’ research would have uncovered the fact that there is no song by the name of “Teenage Wasteland,” by the Rolling Stones or anyone else, that the lyrics quoted are actually from The Who’s “Won’t Get Fooled Again,” and that the “teenage wasteland” reference is actually to “Baba O’Riley,” another song entirely, but also by the Who. The Rolling Stones are nowhere around any of these songs.
Pitiful, especially since it is reflective of the general quality of this screed.
