Where we disagree stems from your assumption that Romney WILL beat Obama.
Right now, near the end of the Primary Campaign, Romney and Obama are viewed with equal disdain by polled probable voters.
This is far to much of an important National Election to support a Republican Nominee who IN MAY has a coin-flip chance of beating Marxist Obama IN NOVEMBER!
Romney did his Prep School best but you came up short, especially in the “FIRE IN THE BELLY” category!

Who has the pull with delegates and clout with the GOP at large to mount such an effort? I’ll tell you: No one.
We had no one run that could convincingly roust Mitt from the “it’s his turn” seat over the last six months and I see no one going to the Convention floor and wresting the nomination away. Palin, DeMint, and Cheney are the few with magic clout. They have not used it so far and i doubt they will Paul has a few delegates and some are crazy enough to cause a train wreck.
You seem to think we have a replacement with clout and “fire in the belly”.
Although I'd like to see Allen West get a lot more seasoning under his belt before running for president, I'm afraid the desperation of the times calls more for character, than experience. He's precisely the sort of strong-willed patriot that we need in the White House now.
If one million patriots could all agree on going to Tampa and forcing West's nomination at the convention, I believe it could work. Nothing less than something of that magnitude will bring it about.
Wellll, actually we do have someone with “fire in the belly.” Officially, she isn’t running and many feel she won’t and if she did she couldn’t win. We may never know. If, by some miracle, she did get the nomination I would expect all those who have steadfastly shouted down any mention of that possibility to abstain from voting rather than support her -— kinda like those of us who will not vote for mittens under any circumstance.

Allen West is a Retired US Army Colonel, the same rank that Eisenhower held when Ike was Named Supreme Allied Commander, Europe in WW2.
West is ideal to have us “promote” him to be the next President of the United States of America.
Obama was trained as a pothead, Marxist community organizer, before proving himself to be bad at everything he does, except for golf.
He's also great at vacationing, sneaking out for fast / calorie laden food, entertaining celebrities (especially fundraisers like Clooney, Estafan, Sarah Jessica Parker, Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas), and spending taxpayer money on "GREEN (as in money") agenda companies that soon go belly up or are horrid investments (Chevy Volt) like it's going out of style.

Lt. Col. (Ret.) West would make an EXCELLENT Commander In Chief at this time when the Marxist, Socialist, Progressive and Liberal forces are unifying to skuttle our US Military to a greater degree than was done to it following WW1.
Thus, as in the 1920’s and early 1930’s, the USA will be understrength militarily, headed into a very deep depression, while hate-driven dictators seize power in a number of foreign countries. The major difference between then and now is that “both” of our sorry political parties still believe in FDR’s 80 year old Keysenian Economic philosophy.
Both Obama and Obamalite (=Romney) believe in “investing” our tax dollars so they can spend their way into our prosperity.
It is time to reject the Keysenian philosophy as a failed economic experiment.
Only a Military man has the backbone to do it.
It is time, for the good of this Nation, for the RNC to DUMP Romney, so that we, the tax-burdened voters can have an OPEN Convention in Tampa!

Another thing that Romney will have to do to keep from being DUMPED in Tampa is to fire his new appointee, (Levitt), to head his transition team, and replace him with someone who wants to REPEAL AND ABOLISH Obama/Romney”care” FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
