After downloading the file from whitehouse.gov and importing it into Adobe Illustrator, one need only to release the clipping mask in order to see two pieces of vital statistics coding not present on the original Ms. Guthrie photographed. A clipping mask that hides information is in and of itself a clear sign of document tampering, but we'll save that for another day.
Since it is impossible to scan a document and have additional information show up on the computer file that was not on the original, one must conclude that the electronic file Obama released has been tampered with and that the computer file might be the parent of the certified paper copy instead of the other way around. It also opens the possibility that yet another electronic file constructed on computer is the parent of both the certified copy Ms. Guthrie photographed and the electronic file posted on whitehouse.gov. Regardless of the exact cause of this anomaly, one this is for certain: The certified copy of Obama's birth certificate photographed by Ms. Guthrie cannot be the parent of the electronic scan posted for download at whitehouse.gov.

Hmm. My common sense is telling me only one thing for certain: Obama LIES.
If you can show Obama actually claiming to be born in Kenya, it would be a great scandal, and show him to be a liar. He may have lied in his college records, which is why he is hiding them. But unfortunately, so far no one has caught him directly in that lie. It would be more productive to pursue that angle than the ridiculous birth certificate forgery angle which just makes conservatives look like kooks.

We don’t know that he lied about Kenya. He wrote his own bio for the lit agency—which is standard practice—and in it said he was born in Kenya. Maybe he was lying...or maybe not.

That looks more real. But, African is not a race, any more than American or Australian is a race. And that was 1961. Mother is Caucasian, correct. Why wouldn’t father’s race be Negro, which is correct. “African” sounds like modern political correctness. They were politically-correct in 1961? Don’t think so.
Obama has problems vis-a-vis eligibility for office, that much is clear from all the sealed records and subterfuge. But, look who's been feeding all the uproar over the birth certificate, the White House itself. "Ooh, look over here!"

My side:
A certificate has been shown, witnessed by the Hawaii Director of Health, certified by the state registrar in cooperation with the governor, and attorney general of Hawaii. So if you believe that it is a forgery, you need to believe that there is a massive conspiracy that include several of the top elected officials in Hawaii.

Why do you think it is fake? If you really wrote imaging software you should understand how weak most of the accusations are. BUt please, share the best argument or two for it being fake.
Save me the time, and just go look in a mirror. You and others here are exactly who I am referring to.
My side. Two eyewitnesses say the notation was “handwritten”. That is a quote. What was released is not “handwritten”. You cannot honestly say you see nothing amiss w the document released bearing no resemblance to the only two certain eyewitness accounts that exist of it.
And no, it’s not even remotely credible that Evans was simply confused. You have to be a moron and/or an Obot to believe that is the true and honest explanation for what happened.
It’s a real PDF. Not fake at all. Just as the earlier JPEG files were real, not fake at all.
As to whether the content is an accurate representation, that remains to be seen. I suspect it’s nowhere near being an actionable misrepresentation. A factually correct composite created to avoid highlighting some other event that would raise questions is about as far as I’d be willing to go. They’re liars and they’re concealing something, but they’re not stupid and they’re not willing to put themselves in personal legal jeopardy.

Who are the two eyewitnesses? I am aware of the MSNBC article that says:
She found the original birth record, properly numbered, half typed and half handwritten, and signed by the doctor who delivered Obama, located in the files. She then put out a public statement asserting to the document's validity. She later put out another public statement in July 2009 — after reviewing the original birth record a second time.I have no idea what she means by half handwritten, but it is in the context of affirming the validity of the cert. For all you know that just means it has all the proper handwritten signatures. Also note that is just a paraphrase by Isikoff, I ve never seen her actual quotation published.
